Jennie walked beside Charlie as she and the ducks made their way to meet the new Ducks. She stepped onto the ice easily, skating forwards with her team beside her. She gently nudged Charlie with her shoulder, he looked over at her with a grin.
Since their talk, they'd become a lot nicer to each other. Especially Charlie as Jennie had opened up to him about how she was feeling. This raised a lot of questions between the Ducks but they have went unanswered.
Jennie looked forward as the 5 new teammates rounded up. "Tell me about my new kids." Bombay glanced over at Tibbles, who nodded his head before pointing at one of the new boys, "That is Luis Mendoza-." Jennie turned her head to look at Luis, she couldn't help but flush, Luis was a good height and had cute hair.
"He's from our Miami Club. A real speedster. Incredible skater. I clocked him at 1.9 seconds, blue line to blue line." He began to skate around, Jennie watched him curiously until she got elbowed in the stomach by Charlie. "Oh sorry."
"Good-lookin skater." Connie commented as Jennie stepped beside her, "Seriously, that's the prettiest guy I've ever seen." She missed the glare that was thrown at her by the other Ducks, "Very good-lookin. What do you think, Guy?" Averman commented making a microphone with his fist, holding it out towards Guy.
"Shut up, Averman." He elbowed Averman in the chest causing him to fall backwards. A laugh escaped Jennie's lips as Averman groaned from the floor. "He has one minor problem." Tibbles spoke up again, which was followed by Luis crashing into the barricade.
"He has a little trouble stopping." Tibbles looked down as Bombay nodded in understanding, "I'd say so." Goldberg commented from behind the group as the new recruits went to help Luis. "Are you okay? Need some help?"
"Yeah. I'm all right. I almost had it that time." Luis spoke pulling his head off and shrugging his shoulders with a boyish look on his face. "Wait, why is he so cute?" Jennie whispered over to Connie who nudged her teasingly, "Found a Ken." Connie whispered back to Adam and Charlie, one of which scowled in annoyance.
"Yee-haw! How is everyone! Y'all ready to play some puck!" Jennie gasped at the loudness of the voice of the boy who was across the rink . "Hey, look it's hopalong gretzky." Jesse joked causing the ducks to laugh, Jennie smiled slightly, shaking her head.
"That's Dwayne Robertson from Austin. He's the best puck handler I've ever seen." Tibbles bragged slightly causing Bombay to look at him strangely, "You mean for his age?" Tibbles shook his head letting out a breath of air, "No, I don't."
Dwayne began to play with the puck in a very fast pace, Jennie blinked a few times in confusion. "What the hell?" Jennie looked over at Connie with wide eyes, the brunette laughed at her face. Jennie turned back to Dwayne who was gloating about the easiness of his skill, she turned her head to see Adam and Charlie watching intently.
