It was Grace's first huge thing with the pack after helping Ethan and Aiden, and she was nervous. She wasn't worried about Stiles, Lydia, and Isaac. She had ridden to the reserve with them in the Jeep, and they had shown no signs of discomfort around her. She knew Isaac would understand she was helping the only way she knew how.

It was Scott and Allison she was nervous about.

Everyone knew that even though they had broken up, Allison was fiercely protective over her ex. Anyone who laid a finger on him would feel her wrath, and she understood why. Allison and Scott had history like no others. They loved each other and broke up for a reason Grace wasn't privy to because they still liked each other despite trying things with new people.

Allison was the most loving person she'd ever met. She was also forgiving, so she hoped she made it on the girl's good side enough to be forgiven for it.

Grace knew it was a bad idea and should've tried to talk her best friends out of the situation. There were probably infinitely better options than the one she was talked into. But it was all she was ever taught. It was how she learned, and it was what came to mind when the twins called for her help.

She got beaten all of the time until she was able to fight back against Kali and finally roar like an alpha, but it took time. Months and months of pummeling until she believed in herself enough to fight back and win. There had been a multitude of times that she'd fight back, but she'd never win. Kali would still beat her and she'd come out limping, or worse.

Still, she always had a support system underneath her to help her up. After fights, Kali would bring her a change of clothes and give her a pep talk for the next one. Ennis would teach her new ways to hit Kali to throw her off. Deucalion helped her hone her magic to be able to get Kali one day.

Scott had that and so much more. But he was also dealing with the repercussions of dying to find his mom. She should've known it was the wrong way to approach the situation. She regretted that she didn't know that she went along with a terrible plan.

She was worried about Scott because she had tried so hard to earn his trust back and it might've just been gonna crumble down. She and Scott were just beginning to be friends and she might flush it down the drain. After their conversation the previous night, she wasn't too sure he was okay with what she had done.

Obviously, Scott wasn't okay with any of her past actions that resulted in murder, which was a lot of them. And they were finally starting to become friends. She didn't want all of their work together to be for nothing because of one thing when she was trying to help him, but just went about it the wrong way.
