╰┈➤ A long while had passed since Ranger had revealed her identity to Miles, she wasn't sure if that was the right move, but at the time it had seemed like her only move.

Once again, the spider-girl's music was rudely disturbed by a phone call from... an unknown number? Ranger answered the call, subtly changing her accent to a heavy Brooklyn accent.

"Hello?" She said, suspiciously in to the phone.

"Ranger? Look I need your help can you meet me here?" And on cue a text notification appeared from the same number?

"Wha- Miles?"

"Yeah, sorry, hi."

"Oh okay, um, when should I meet you?"

"Uhhh, now? Preferably?"

"OH, okay. I'm on my way." And with that she ended the call.

The girl stood up, thankfully Emmie was out so Ranger didn't need to worry about her seeing what she was about to do, she stripped herself of her, now dishevelled, uniform, revealing her Night-Spider suit beneath it and swiftly swung out of the window, phone in hand for directions to the address Miles had sent her.

Swinging through the city, Ranger realised that it was probably a good idea to call Peter that night and tell him about Miles, but right now that didn't matter, helping Miles did.

I arrived at the address, through the subway station and into what looked to be an abandoned site. I saw Miles then, he was on the floor, prodding something with a rod.

"Miles?" At my voice he turned to look at me and then he jumped back slightly.

"Holy shit! Your suit is so cool!" He said, fangirling over my spider suit.

"Thanks, Morales, hey what are you doing?"

"Come look."

So I walked over to him and crouched beside him, reaching into my hood to pull of my mask and saw what it was he had previously been poking at?

"Miles, is that-"

"The spider that bit me? Ding ding! 10 points to Ran- uh- Night-Spider!"

I took the small rod from Miles' hands and turned the spider over, sure enough...

Alchemax.

The spider glitched and we both moved away from it in shock.

Suddenly, we heard a rumble. We stood up in fear. Therumble stops. It appears to be coming from an abandoned tunnel. A surge of spider-sense. Overwhelming.

Miles shone his light into the distance. A long blue tube stamped 'Alchemax'. I felt a rush of my spider-sense, and I think Miles felt it too.

It told me to look out. And I'm glad it did because not even a moment later a subway car flew toward us and smashed into the walls.

Through the wreckage of the walls, there's another room. A huge one containing Alchemax equipment.

Then I saw him, Spider-Man.

"Norman, listen to me!" He shouted across at a large version of the Green Goblin making its way toward him.

Miles gasps from beside me, "Spider-Man!?"
