SARA'S POV-
It was barely even morning when I woke up to several calls made by Ye jun. Thoughts of him getting freaking worried again, banging the door and yelling at me like that day came to my mind before I finally answered the recent incoming call.
"What is it?" I yawned.
"Are you awake?" He said in a deep voice.
"Yes. Wide awake now, thanks to you!" I spat sarcastically.
"Wait. How do you even come up with an attitude this early in the morning?"
"Right, how do you come up with an idea to call this early morning. Well, it's not even morning! What do you want?" My anger turned to frustration as he disturbed my sleep.
"I CAN'T SLEEP!" He yelled over the phone.
"Seems like a you-problem." I scoffed.
"But it's all your fault!" He whined as I spoke, "Really? You wanna do this at freaking four in the morning?" I yawned again.
"Go to sleep, Ye jun." I disconnected the call and tried to fall asleep when he called again.
"No, listen to me. It's your fault too and you should also suffer with me. Don''t sleep." He took an abrupt pause when he got zero response from my side.
"What happened?" There was no reply for almost a minute.
"You there?" I tried again.
"Okay, I'm hanging up if you don't-"
"I exist." He pouted over the phone when I chuckled a bit, "Great to know that."
"By the way, wanna go out for a walk? No chance I can sleep now." I proposed to which he immediately agreed as if he was waiting to hear something like that.
I quickly brushed my teeth, fixed my hair and in no time, suddenly received a text from Ye jun that he was outside my room. "Already? Is he Shanghai Maglev with a default top speed or what?" I put on some lip balm as my mind drifted to some morning facts.
It was almost 4.24 a.m. and it would be really cold outside at the present hour. I searched the room to find something warm when I noticed Ye jun's hoodie sitting on the chair like a royal prince. I put it on quickly and got down the stairs to find him watching me like a spy.
We walked together towards the garden in front of the massive swimming pool, decorating the place prettier than ever. Ye jun was silent till I finally spoke up.
"So..." I took a pause to look at him. "You were awake all night?" He nodded.
"What for? Something happened? I asked.
"It was all because of what happened-" His voice first cracked and then got deeper. "-last night"
His statement made me get an immediate flashback of last night; me saying "I wasn't." and him smirking, "Yea. You weren't."
"Sara?" He tapped my shoulder. "Huh?" I looked at him with wide eyes as he gave me a dumbfounded expression.
"You know....I-I didn't m-mean all that I said." I stammered, nervous.
"Yea. You surely didn't." He sniffled. "Wait. What did you say?"
"That I wasn't jealous-" He sniffled again and stopped me from speaking. "See, this is the reason I hate talking to silly people. They just can't be serious even once."
I looked at him as he presented his sentence of defense. "I caught a damn freaking cold!' He sniffled and then blew his nose on a tissue.
"Oh, so that was why you couldn't sleep last night?" I nodded in disbelief in my flashback sense.
