SARA'S POV-
"I am so, so sorry. They're just like this." Seong bin said and offered me to sit. "Always?" I sat down as he shook his head in denial.
"Not exactly. They're just...not so compatible." He groaned. "What do you mean?" I furrowed.
"Just forget it. It'll be alright." He tried to divert the topic as I still strived to figure things out.
"Anyways, welcome." Han seok grabbed a seat next to me. I gave him a soft smile in response.
"Now that I'm finally here, let's discuss the details?" I removed some files from my bag.
"So, I've been assigned to interpret for you both in Korean and English; also I can work for Japanese and Spanish." I began with a brief introduction of my job. "I'll be traveling with you during the tours, awards ceremonies, events, fan-signs, etc. for that purpose."
"But if you need me anywhere else, I'll gladly be there to do my job. Well, that's unofficial...but, ahem...I'm okay with that. I will cooperate with you all and expect you to do the same." I took a deep breath before moving forward. They both were silently listening to me, nodding after each minute.
"I need you to sign this contract; for a year as of now. The further contract renewal will be managed by the company itself." I passed them a paper each.
"We're glad for the unofficial thing though." Seong bin beamed as I watched them keep the pens down.
"I need to get the signatures from Ji hun and Ye jun too. Where do you-" He cut me off. "It's fine; I'll get it done."
"Are you sure?" I questioned. "Yes." He went on, "After you saw what happened, I don't think it's much of a great idea for you to do that."
"I guess so too. They won't be so glad to work and get along." I bit my lower lip in anxiety thinking if I offended them in any way by interrupting whatever the important discussion it was.
"Don't worry, Ms. Interpreter." Han seok flaunted his English accent. I unknowingly passed a nervous cackle at that and we ended up laughing about how funny and cute his accent was.
"You see, we were actually having a discussion about the concept of our new single." Han seok began after being comfortable around. "And...Ji hun and Ye jun hyung gave two different ideas and fought over it as usual."
"Oh...I finally got the scene now." I said, absolutely unaware of what they were really going to be like in the near future.
"Well, we have a meeting with this musician for the single. I think you should be there too." Seong bin stated.
"Okay. But, why do you think I should be there? I don't relate so much with music." I told the guys.
"Because...um-" He looked at me, dumbfounded. "You're our Interpreter. Plus, the... musician... is... he's Japanese." He pursed his lips looking at my dumber self.
"Oh. Shit. Right. Sure. I'll come." I suddenly realized what my profession was. "Um. Can you text me the time please?
"You see, we can't really exchange our numbers as idols. It's out of our..." He ceased when I cut him off, "Oh...I understand. I'll take the details from your manager."
A nervous laughter could be heard from my side when I realized that I was dealing with actual K-pop Idols who weren't allowed to share their personal details that much. They both nodded and pressed in a warm good-bye when I walked out of the room.
...
I returned home, tired. My workplace, the area and the crowd I would be around was awesome. But more work, more stress and the more I would get tired. And, no matter how tired I got, I still had to go to work the next day. 'No wait.' I thought to myself while I checked the office calendar.
