SARA'S POV-

Luna and the rest of her team were sitting on the couch while we were cleaning up after dinner. "Should we cut the cake now?" asked Seong bin, taking the cake out of the refrigerator.

"Yes!!!" everybody shouted, excited. "Ji hun-a! Come take the plates out, please." He shouted from the kitchen to which Luna sprung from the couch at once, following Ji hun as he entered the kitchen.

She was such an annoying person; what did she think? I didn't know that she was trying to hit on my Ji hun? Huh. I was well aware of that.

"Hyung! Ye jun hyung's not coming!" Han seok came running out of the balcony.

"Why? He didn't even come for dinner and we said nothing. Come on, he has to come for this; it's his housewarming?!" Seong bin said, frustrated with the younger one.

I hesitated for a bit but then went to the balcony and saw Ye jun sitting all alone, looking at the stars.

"Hi there!" I chimed as I sat down beside him. He looked up at me, passed a forced smile and then gazed back at the stars.

"I like your house." I complimented the actually pretty house. "Thanks." He said, his eyes not moving from the sky.

"Do you like star-gazing?" I asked to ease the awkwardness that started to build just a while ago.

"I do." He answered in a cold voice as if he was no longer interested to talk to me.

"I bet you do. And you have such a great house on the 21st floor, with a balcony which presents such a wonderful view. I swear I've never seen such a view before." I tried to build a conversation.

He hummed in response. Ugh. He never talked properly, did he? Why was I even stuck with him? No, wait. You weren't stuck with him, Sara. You chose to be there. Yes, correct.

"They're all cutting the cake out there." I added. "I know," he replied, cold again. "Um...So aren't we going?" I faced him.

"No." He replied and took a pause. "It's not like you have to stay back with me. You can go..." He said in a rather sad voice; a voice which was asking me to stay back with him and wanting to do that, I replied the same, "I'll stay back."

Just then, Ji hun opened the door of the balcony and all of a sudden Luna popped in too. God, that girl!

"Guys, let's go. We've gotta cut the cake soon." He joyfully muttered.. "Nah, I'm good." Ye jun replied without making eye contact.

"Come on Ye jun-a! Let's go." Luna said in an oh-so-disgusting-voice thinking that she was persuading him.

"Firstly, stop being so informal with me. We are still professionals and I'd like us to be professional as well. All of us." Ye jun exhorted, emphasizing on all.

"What if we go to cut the cake, grab a piece and come back to the balcony if you don't wanna stay there?" I proposed.

"Nah. You go." Ye jun shook his head, still stubborn about his decision. "Please, Ye jun..." I passed him a smile to accept my plea.

"Let's go, Sara. It's not our problem that he doesn't wanna come." Ji hun said sarcastically, "You're not his babysitter after all."

"You know what, Sara? Let's actually go." Ye jun hissed in a way to defeat Ji hun off his false perception.

He stood up from the floor, offering me his hand and I got up grabbing it as he glared at Ji hun. I seriously didn't know what competition they were in right now. Ji hun dramatically rolled his eyes at him and walked away with Luna tailing him like Mary's little lamb.
