Bleak and broken,
Devoid of emotion or feeling,
A beautiful rose,
Crumbling to pieces.

Tough and strong
Though weak from her tears,
A wonderful rose,
trembling with fear.

Alone and shamed,
Afraid to see her beauty so bright,
A radiant rose,
Blind to the light.

Loving and kind,
She has much for the world to hold.
A wilting rose,
Living in a life far too cold.
