Chapter 16

Rue P.O.V

Once we reached there so called headquarters, it was a simple old shed.

"Whoa it looks.... nice" Zed said sarcastically Alexis nudges him.
"Thanks but that's not all" Fer said enthusiastically as she and Gus walked in, we looked at each other and walked in slowly , once we were inside we stood amazed of how large it was with a futuristic style.

"Very nice" Zed said amazed
"There to show you, never judge a book by its cover" Alexis said smiling
"And that's not all" Fer said as she put a code on a keypad. Two huge metal doors open and there were people inside walking and working on different things, one of them noticed her and yelled " Attention on deck!" everybody stood in attention. Hmm impressive.

"Are you their comanding chief?" Alexis asked confused. She looked back at her and nodded she also turns to look at me and smirks.

"Carry on!" She yelled back and everybody keeped doing their work. She keeped walking inside, we follow. She took us to another set of metal doors, once we were inside Gus closed the doors behind us, causing for me to get in a ready to fight stance.

"Oh no, don't worry you can trust us, in fact we brought you here to help you with your weapon upgrades" Fer explained

"What kind of upgrade?" Zed asked, Alexis nudged him again he does a "what" motion with his shoulders and hands.

"This kind of upgrades" she walked around us and did a circle motion with her fingers to Gus as they reached some cabinets and started to open them. Once we saw what we're inside we all looked around shocked. Every sort of weapon everywhere.

"Whoa, did Christmas came early this year! " Zed said as he started to pick weapons.
"And that's not all " Fer said as she walked around of her desk and pressed a button turning her table top revealing all sorts of grenades.

"Go on ahead, pick which ever you like" Fer said happy as Gus appeared behind her.

I looked at her confused. "Why are you helping us?" I asked getting closer to her desk and leaning in while holding myself at the edge of the desk.

"Because, we used to do what you guys do on earth, we're actually humans" Fer explained.
"What?! How you got here?" Zed asked as he had a gun in hand.

"Same way as you guys, we had an organization back on earth until on one of our mission we meat Ezra he brought us here and he had fooled us we went with the same plan. When we entered, BAM!, he caught us we luckily escaped, but we suffered the consequences " she said as she lowered her head .

As I was listening I had been looking to the floor all this time as I raised my head I said. " I'm sorry you went through that"

"Is okay, as soon as we heard there was another organization here, we acted quickly "Fer said.

"Thanks we own you one" Alexis said.

"Oh no don't worry about it, our organization is from Panem, where's from yours?" Fer asked.

"Wait, there's more than you guys? " Alexis asked

"Ooh yeah in Graff,Kong, even Mazza and that place is hopeless." Fer said

"Were from Gale" I answered

"Another location to add to the map." Fer said excited "Whoa you guys are really on the south." Fer said. I nod and everybody except Zed who was still picking weapons  looked down awkwardly.

"Well what are you guys waiting for? choose weapons!" Fer said

Everybody scattered looking for something that caught their eyes.

In general P.O.V.

Rook walked around all he saw were guns, does weren't really his style. Unit he passed in front of two dragon en bladed katanas he reached for them and tried them out. Gus goes behind him and placed a hand on his shoulder . "Good choice brother " Gus told him, Rook simply nodded.

Zed picked every gun he saw until he saw a 360-CMO.
"Whoa, we're did you get this? I've always wanted to get this " Zed exclaimed

"A girl never tells her secrets" Fer said winking. Zed didn't care as long as she keeped getting this awesome guns.

"I don't see anything that I like" Alexis exclaimed.

"I have a better place for you" Fer said as she took her inside a room with computers.

"Whoa this is tech paradise " Alexis said amazed and excited.

"Enjoy" Fer said smiling and walking out.

Rue keeped looking at some bow&arrows, thinking about it patiently.

"Go ahead take it" Gus came from behind

"Is just an bow&arrow how much effect will that do?"  Rue asked

"Aahh, but that's the best part , this aren't just plain bow&arrows, this arrows are tech arrows, every arrow has an different effect for any creature ." Fer explained

"Well bow&arrows it is" Rue said as she reached for them and placed them on her back.

"Well now everybody has a weapon or a designated place ." Fer said as she looked at Alexis.
"It is time for armor and training" Fer finished saying.

"Come follow me" we all followed her outside her office, I knew as we walked we were all preparing ourself mentally, physically and emotionally for what was coming.....
