I was looking outside thinking really deep thoughts

"Rue come here I have something to show you" Alexis said yelling

I went to the planning area of our headquarters to see everybody there

"yes Alexis?" I asked

"ok now that everybody is here let me explain the 2 gadgets , ok firts I finally actualized the tracker it will make it simple to find the Newingtons and it will say what level it is, and the second gadget is a new Tech Gun that is amo is energy instead of bullets plus is much more better for the field no changing the bullets in the middle of the battle and thanks to Zed he added a 500% battery that can hold up to 4 to 5 weeks" Alexis Explained

"nice work Zed & Alexis we shall use the new weapons as soon a Newington appears" I said

beep! beep!

"well heres you chance a Newington appeard Downtown a level 5" Alexis said

"well let's go" I said

Alexis quickly went to the front door while everybody got out she gave a new weapon to us. we quickly went to the van and headed downtown.

"the Newington is inside that McDonalds" Alexis said

"ooh great inside a public fast food restaurant" Zed said

"Alexis binoculars" I said

Alexis handed me the binoculars and I look to see whats happening

"shes safe their just eating, we just have to wait till they come out, don't think it will take long" I said

"Omg!!!!! how much time has this Newington take?" Zed said

"2 minutes" Alexis said annoyed

"uugghh" Zed said

"enough, theres movement accurying let's move" I said

the Newington look everywhere like looking for something and then pushes the girl to a alley

"his making a move, let's go Rook" I said while getting out of our van we walked fast reaching the corner of the alley and look, Rook by my side, we prepared our weapons to attack.

"you better stop or else" I said

"or else what?" The Newington

"do you really want to know?" I said

"your getting me annoyed with your small talk and sarcasm" he said while transforming and a scream of a girl in the background of his yelling

"you are going to die today" he yelled

"i don't think I'm the one thats gonna die" I said with a grin

he comes at me running and yelling Rook started to throw his arrows getting the creatures shoulder he notice this and hit Rook making him hit a wall in pain

"ROOK!!" I yelled, I got mad and started to run at the creature with my katana I slice one of his arms while he screams in pain I prepair the new weapon I point the gun at the creature and hit the leaver nothing happens, again, still nothing he starts to laugh and comes running at me I got scared cause it wouldn't shoot he was getting close at last I throw the gun to the side and get my katana out.

"RUE!!!!" Rook yelled

I race my katana up in the air, me and the creature stay frozen for a few seconds and Puff he disappears I sliced his face in half by a lucky shot I start to breath hard and I fell to the floor.

"Rue, Rue are you ok?" Rook asked armed

"yes I'm ok just got scared for a sec is all" I said

Rook helped me up

"I'll be back to you let me erase her mind" Rook said, I looked back and saw the girl sitting down besides a trash can, I totally forgot about her, I just noddded while he went do that I went to pick up the gun from the floor and wait for Rook, I got scared by a sudden feel of a hand on my shoulder but it was only Rook

"c'mon she won't last long" Rook said, we ran to the van

"what happened?" Alexis asked

"I'll tell you what happened I almost died because your gun didn't work" I said almost yelling

"WHAT!!?? I though you said that you checked it to see if it was working properly" Alexis said

"i did,let me see" Zed said

"theres some gears out of place but how?" Zed asked confused

"did you put it in your trunk the day you brought it?" Alexis asked

"yes but I drived slowly" Zed said

everybody looked at him with a plain look

"ok maybe not" Zed confessed

"are you out of your mind?" Alexis yelled

"sorry" Zed said

"sorry won't cut it, we almost lost our leader because of your reckless actions, your just lucky she reacts quickly" Rook said kinda yelling

"look just don't let it happen again next time you drive slow and Alexis next time check inside the gadget" I adviced them

"let's just forget this ever happened ok at least the girl is safe and besides I've bein through worst problems" I said

we had a silent drive back to headquarters as soon we arrived I went to my room while Zed and Alexis went to the computer lab while Rook went to the dojo I went strait to my room to think, if im still alive is because I react quick or I got another chance to destroy the Newingtons

Knock! Knock!

I looked back

"come in" I said

the door opens slowly at it was Rook

"i came to apologize" Rook said while kneeling down

"why apologize? " I asked confused

"because I wasen't able to protect you" Rook finally said while looking down

I went up to him

"come Rook stand" I said

He obeys me and stands

"you don't have to apologize you did the ultimate best today" I said

we did a hand to hand handshake and then hugged. we got seperated and looked at each other

"you should get back home and rest, you got hit bad" he nods and then bows he slowly leaves my room.

I looked outside the window and see the full moon

~"one day, one day I shall find the Newington lord and stop this once and for all"~ I thought
