Chapter 2

Rue P.O.V

I woke up with a strange smell of food which was weird because I don't live next a restaurant. I slowly come out off my bed and following the smell. I found myself at the kitchen of the headquarters and I see Alexis.

~what is she doing here?~ I though

"morning" I say then yawned

" oohh morning Rue, had a goodnight sleep?" Alexis asked

"yeah, why are you doing this?" I asked confused nobody has never done this to me. I always made my own food or when I was lazy just order Pizza or Chinese Food.

"Because I wanted to, plus I learned a new breakfast recepi and wanted to try it out, so go ahead sit down and watch the master at her work" Alexis said all happy

I remember when she was in trouble....

Flashback

I was looking for the Newingtons I was a rookie and I was completely mad at them and wanted revenge.

I was jumping from building roof to roof until I hear a little girl scream in a alley I looked down and see the Newington almost draining her. I act fast and jump while taking my katana out of the case and as I go down I cut the Newington in half causing all the souls he has drain going to there perspective bodys especially the girl in front of me.

"are you ok?" I asked

"yeah what was that?" She asked

"you know to much, I have to erase your mind" I said while looking for the minderasing device, but she stops me in mid way

" No don't I wanna help" She saids

"is not safe is better of by myself" I said

"pleas let me help that thing didn't suck the souls of my 2 big sisters it killed them, please I want to get them back and stop them from hurting other people, please!!" she saids begging more and more.

I look at her all serious.

"are you good in something?" I asked

"umm... well i'm good with tech and making plans for new things" she said

"do you fight?" I asked

"not much but you can show me" she said

"ok but always watch your back, ok"

"ok, whats your name anyways" she asks

"Rue" I said

"I'm Alexis, nice to meet you" she said and we shaked hands and from there forward we started fighting those demonic creatures.

Now she's all grown up and able to take care of herself very smart, determined girl she is.

"Here you go Rue" Alexis said all happy

"thanks" I said it looked so delicious I took a bite and it was the most delicious thing I have ever tasted.

"omg this is good" I said

"aaw thanks" she said while she put a piece in her mouth. i'm actually glad I have her as my team member

"Alexis" I said

"Mhmm" she could only say because her mouth was full of food

I smiled "I'm glad we are friends" I said
