Hey! This chapter will be a little shorter than most for it is in Louis POV, and I don't want to give out to much info.

Chapter 46:

Louis POV:

As Zayn and I drive to our destination, I can't help but think back on the past few weeks, like how I betrayed a friend of mine. I mean, it was for the better cause. Catherine is being blinded by Harry. Yes, Zayn's evil. There is no denying that. But he also has the heart to become a better man. Catherine helped him, and he needs her. And if he can't get her, he's going to be consumed by the thing he fears most, darkness.

Darkness consumed him until the day he met Catherine. But when he met her, everyone could feel the change in him. Everyday he goes without her, he gets more consumed; suffocated by the fact that he can't have her, and that is driving him insane. Catherine doesn't see it, but she needs him as much as he needs her.

I convinced Zayn to give her time to breathe, hopefully to remind her she needs Zayn, and hopefully for her to feel the dread of missing him. And if that doesn't work, this whole world is doomed.

I'm afraid Zayn will be so suffocated by the darkness, he'll one day snap and kill her. And that wouldn't be bad for just her, but for us ghosts and demons.

She dies, we die.

Many ghosts and demons know what Catherine means to Zayn. Take Luke for example.

He doesn't care if it will kill him and everybody else. All he cares about is that Zayn suffers. Without Catherine, Zayn would go even more insane then he already is. That is why I am on Zayn's side.

Catherine probably hates me, but I can live with it if it means saving her.

"This is really stupid, Zayn." I announce as we pull up to the driveway.

He turns to me, anger evident on his face. "I don't give a fuck. I'm going to ruin her like she ruined me."

"Zayn, that won't make her love you."

"I don't care, I don't love her."

Of course, I knew he was lying. He's completely crazy about her, he's just so mad, he can't realize that.

"Okay." I shrug.

We walk up to the door and knock. Luke answers and his mouth falls open surprised.

"Surprised?" Zayn smirks.

Luke has no words, "Come in."

"I was going to even if you said not to." He rolls his eyes, pushing Luke out of the way.

I shoulder-check Luke as I walk in, and we enter the living room to see Calum, Ashton, Michael, and Aiden.

"Well, hello boys." Zayn announces, loudly. All the boys jump as they see Zayn, his black eyes boring into them.

"What do you want?" Luke asks, unsure of what to think.

"I want to help you."

Luke laughs, "Lies."

He runs at Zayn, pulling out the only knife that can kill the Devil. But Zayn's faster then Luke. He grabs Luke by the wrist that he has the knife in, "Don't even try."

Zayn squeezes Luke's wrist until he drops the knife, "Louis, grab it."

I lean down and pick it up. "I'm not shitting you, Luke. I want to help."

"Why now?"

"I want Harry gone."
