Nearly two excruciating hours later and the bell for lunch finally rang. Gumball had somehow managed to endure the two lessons he'd had to sit through, though not without a great deal of difficulty. Not only did he have his rumbling stomach and ever-worsening headache to manage but also the constant glares of everyone in class who had seen his and Penny's argument outside.  Darwin was looking around the class, and at Gumball and Penny, and seemed very concerned and confused as to what on earth was going on.

Penny..he'd glanced over at her a lot during the lesson, only for her to scowl at him or turn into her medusa form upon noticing. It hurt to see her so angry and upset, and it hurt even more knowing that he was the one who had caused her such pain. He had no idea how he was going to fix their relationship...or even if he could. For all he knew she might never talk to him again...

When he wasn't looking at Penny he had just stayed silent, taking notes and doing his work as he tried his best to not break down in tears in front of everyone. As soon as the bell had rung and he'd been dismissed the feline had ran out of the classroom as fast as he could, eager to get away from such a hostile environment.

As he headed to the cafeteria the feline suddenly let out a gasp of pain, a sudden bout of dizziness overcoming him. He stumbled and leaned against a locker, clutching his head and wincing in pain. His head was killing him. He'd have to go to Nurse Markham and ask if she would give him some aspirin once he'd had his lunch.

He remained leaning against the locker for a minute or so until his dizziness went away before slowly standing back up and heading over to the cafeteria, his stomach loudly growling, demanding it be fed.

He quietly entered the cafeteria., before grimacing. Ugh...this noise was not going to help his headache...

Penny saw him enter and immediately got up and moved as far away from him as possible to another table near the back, wanting nothing to do with him.

The kitten teared up and let out a whimper, his ears lowering. Heartbroken, he made his way to the lunch line, eager to get something to eat.

Once he'd gotten his food he looked around, trying to decide where to sit. His eyes stopped as he noticed Darwin sat at a table with Carrie, waving his fin as if inviting him to join them.

He briefly considered accepting his brother's invite, though quickly decided against it. Right now he wanted nothing more than to be left alone.

He began to make his way over to an empty table instead. He wasn't paying attention however, so didn't notice a puddle of water someone had spilled. He stepped right into it and slipped, sending his food flying off the tray and onto the floor, spilling it everywhere. He meanwhile unceremoniously crashed into the ground.

The feline growled, clenching his teeth. He stopped up, still holding his tray. As his fists clenched and he began to breathe heavily with rage he slammed his tray onto the ground as hard as he could, breaking it in half, before walking back to the line.

As he was walking he gasped, leaning against a table as his head suddenly throbbed again with another sharp pain, this one even worse than the last. His head was in agony, and these sharp throbs of pain were starting to become more frequent. If this continued on much long it would become unbearable...

He finally reached the front of the line again, now the only one left to get his lunch.

Rocky looked at him and sighed. "Dude, you know the rules, only one lunch per person," Rocky told him.

"But I tripped and spilled mine on the floor!"

"Oh, well in that case I would give you something but we're all out of cottage pie. All we have left is some vegan goat cheese surprise, if you're interested in that."
