Gumball stumbled out the door, panting heavily. He screamed as he clutched his head in agony. "AHHHHHH!"
He smashed into the wall, sweating beginning to pour down every part of his body. He could barely breathe the pain was so intense. What was happening to him?
He slid down the wall holding his head, tears streaming down his face. "AHHHHHHH, MAKE IT STOP! PLEASE MAKE IT STOP!!!!"
Every pound of his head felt like fifty knives being stabbed into every part of his body, getting twisted and turned, pushed deeper and deeper. He never felt such agony before.
He squeezed his eyes shut, tears streaming down his face. "P-Please...s-someone help me..." He spoke, so quietly it was almost a whisper.
"Ahhhh!"
The feline's eyes suddenly shot open wide in horror as he heard a scream of terror from the middle of the courtyard. Not just any scream, however. A scream that was very familiar to him, one that he always hated to hear.
"...Anais!?"
He looked toward the source of the scream, but his head was spinning so badly he could barely make out anything. What he could see however was his sister being held up in the air by...someone. He couldn't make out who through the dizziness and pain.
The young kitten slowly stood up, trying to walk toward Anais, but only managed a few steps before collapsing onto the ground, holding his head as he dug his claws into his scalp. "AHHHHHHHHHHH!"
He...he couldn't do this...it was too painful...it was too much for him.
As he lay on the ground, head feeling like it was about to explode, his thoughts shifted to his sister.
N-No...Anais was in danger....she was going to get hurt....he couldn't just lay here...
He slowly began to stand up again, trembling as he began to take step after step toward his sister.
"Anais...I'm...coming..." He called out weakly, though no-one heard through the crowd that had gathered around her and her assailant.
It hurt so much, each step made his head feel like it was on fire, but he had to keep going. His sister was in danger. She needed him. She needed her brother.
Each step he took the pain got worse, each move he made him feel like his entire body was on fire. He could barely even see where he was going his head was spinning so fast.
But he pushed through the pain, the agony, fighting against the dizziness to keep going. He just had to reach his sister. That was all that mattered. She was all that mattered.
He was almost there, he just had to get through the crowd, he just had to push through a little longer.
As the feline pushed through the crowd he could finally make out what was going on. Julius was holding Anais up by the collar of her dress. The young rabbit was covering her face with her arms as she trembled and whimpered in fear, terrified.
"You snooty little know it all, you think you're better than me? You think you're smarter than me, huh!?"
"I...I-I-I don't understand...w-w-what do you mean?" She asked through her tears.
"You, constantly upstaging me in class. always getting better grades than me, always being the teacher's pet, and making me look stupid! I'm fed up with being outsmarted and humiliated by a four-year-old! A girl!"
