Chapter 5
Aryan entered the room at midnight. His mind was in chaos. Sure he doesn't have a proper relation or bonding with his family but siya was the only person he bonded with. He cared for. Whatever happened in the morning affected her badly and he knew it. When arushi apologized he was there and he can't believe siya so easily forgave arushi. He might have even eavesdropped on ayansh and vivaan conversation and also the fight between siya and vivaan.
Only if he could do something for her. He thought. His eyes went around the room to look for his wife. He had given her the phone to call her parents. His eyes then fell on the figure sitting at the corner of the room hunched over. His eyes widen as he took long steps towards her.
"Amore?" he called out. But he got nothing in response. Simran sat there still with her phone lying in front of her on the floor. Her face lowered making it impossible for him to see her face. "Baby the only time I wasn't you on the floor is when you sucking my cock which I don't think will be in a near future but other than that you are not allowed to sit on the floor."
This dirty joke didn't do anything to her. Aryan sighed. He might have an idea what has happened and that's why he didn't want her to call her parents. He kneeled in front of her and grabbed her face to make her face him. Her eyes red and tears dried settled on her cheeks. He lovingly caressed her cheeks with his knuckles.
"Baby please get up and tell me what happened?" it was not every day that he has so much patience. He has a very little patience but he knew if he lashes out at her it would do nothing good. "Is it about your parents?" he softly asked. It was even a shock to him if he could say anything softly.
Hearing her parents name simran snapped her eyes at him. Her teary eyes now glaring at him. He got up immediately and aryan did the same. She was about to walk away but aryan held her wrist. "Tell me what happened amore? Did they say anything to you." He enquired curiously.
Simran snatched her hand back and looked at him with anger radiating through her eeys. "What do you want to know aryan? Tell me. Stop acting like you don't know anything. You gave them money in return of taking me away and marrying me. You fucking gave them money and I can't even complain about your actions when my own parents accepted the money."
Simran breathed harshly. Tears streaming down her face. "My own parents sold me more mere 50 lakhs. What can I say?" simran tiredly says recalling their earlier conversations.
Simran paced nervously around her room, her heart pounding with a mix of hope and fear as she clutched her phone. She dialed her mother's number, her hands trembling slightly. The call went unanswered twice, but on the third attempt, it finally connected.
"Hello?" her mother's voice came through, cold and distant.
"Maa!" Simran exclaimed, relief flooding her voice. "Maa, it's me! I've been trying to reach you—"
