It was around 2 pm when vivaan descended down the stairs. He was cooped up in his study room the whole day. Although he had a nap of two hours in his study chair but it was uncomfortable. He walked into the hall and was met with ayansh. The scenes of yesterday night flashed before his eyes and he felt guilty.
He knew how much his brother loved siya and he had no intentions of claiming her like that and hurting him. But when he saw them together so late at night he was a bit jealous and angry. He impulsively kissed her knuckles letting ayansh see to whom siya belongs to.
"You decided to show your face now Bhaiya?" ayansh taunted raising his eyebrows. Aryan snickered from where he was sitting on the sofa busy with his phone. Vivaan frowned and looked at Aryan. "You don't get to snicker Aru when you disappear for the whole day without telling us at least you all knew I was in the study."
"Hush don't fight now. The lunch is served let's go." Ayansh said. Vivaan nodded and walked with him into the dining room. Aryan too pocketed his phone and followed them but abruptly stopped when simran plopped in front of him. He raised his eyebrows at her abrupt behaviour. "What Amore?"
"Fight with me."
The demand stunned aryan. He chuckled looked at her. Simran was offended. What was there to laugh? Aryan bent down a bit to match her eye level and patted her head. "You look half of my size Amore and you want me to fight you?"
Simran huffed pushing him back. "Argue with me I mean. I have to find a way to lure vivaan bhai into taking me out."
Aryan nodded in head in understanding finally knowing her plan. He looked at her from top to bottom a bit and then moved a bit close to him. "If I say anything in this fight please don't take to heart okay?" his voice coarse but soft. Simran looked at him. She stared into his eyes which showed a lighter shade of blue.
She nodded. Her throat becoming dry all of a second. Aryan smiled and bent down pecking her forehead leaving her shocked and speechless. "Come baby let's fight in the dining room?"
Simran was still a little stunned by the sudden forehead kiss, but she quickly snapped out of it and followed Aryan into the dining room, her heart racing in anticipation of what was to come.
Once they were in the middle of the dining room, Aryan stepped back, the air between them charged with the fake tension of their complicated relationship. He let out a dramatic sigh, making sure his voice carried through the room. "Simran, for the last time, I'm not taking you out! Stop being so needy," he said, his tone laced with faux irritation, though there was an underlying edge that hinted at something darker.
Simran narrowed her eyes, slipping into her role. "Needy? I'm not being needy, Aryan! I'm just bored out of my mind because you never take me anywhere. Do you expect me to just sit around all day waiting for you? You kidnapped me and forcefully married me the least you can do is to make me a bit happy" She crossed her arms, throwing in a sassy eye roll for good measure.
Ayansh and Arushi, who had been casually lounging nearby, perked up at the unfolding drama. Arushi leaned in close to Ayansh, a mischievous grin tugging at her lips. "This is going to be fun," she whispered, and Ayansh nodded, a smirk forming on his face.
Aryan played his part, throwing his hands up in exaggerated exasperation. "You're always complaining, Simran! Maybe if you weren't so impossible to please, I'd actually want to take you out!"
Simran gasped, her voice rising as she shot back, "Impossible to please? Maybe if you weren't such a control freak, I wouldn't have to complain!"
Just then, Vivaan walked in, his brow furrowing at the heated exchange. He didn't like seeing his brother and Simran at odds, and the way Aryan was speaking to her made him uncomfortable. "Aryan, enough!" he interrupted sternly. "Don't talk to her like that. Simran, what's going on?"
