The sunlight fell on arushi's eyes as she fluttered open her eyes. She groaned and turned her face the other side snuggling into her pillow to cover her eyes. A faint cologne invaded her nostrils and she sniffed it.
Arushi's grogginess began to fade as the familiar scent of Ayansh's cologne wrapped around her like a warm embrace. She nuzzled deeper into the pillow, a small smile tugging at her lips as memories of the previous night surfaced in her mind. Just as she was about to drift back to sleep, a gentle hand brushed a strand of hair away from her face.
"Good morning," Ayansh's deep voice murmured softly, his breath warm against her ear.
Arushi's heart skipped a beat, and she couldn't help but smile wider, though she kept her eyes shut. "Mmm, it was a good morning until someone decided to wake me up," she teased, her voice muffled by the pillow.
Ayansh chuckled, the sound vibrating through the bed. "I couldn't help it. You looked too peaceful, and I got jealous of that pillow," he replied, his tone playful but laced with affection.
Arushi stared at him. Her eyes narrowing on him. "Are you high or something ayansh?"
Ayansh tipped his head back letting out a laugh. He looked at her and smirked sitting up straight. He leaned on the headboard. "Why do you think like that sweetheart?"
Arushi's eyes widen and her eyes scrunched up in confusion. She was not used to this kind of affections from him. Once in a while is okay but him calling her sweetheart first thing in the morning was not digested by her in any way. She rubbed her eyes and sat up straight.
Ayansh noticed her every actions, the way her eyes widen at the nickname and how she sat straight. He chuckled in his mind but somewhere in the corner of his mind he knew what he was doing. He wanted to get close to arushi. He wanted to be affectionate with her. He wanted to forget siya completely.
Seeing his brother stake a claim on her in front of him squeezed his heart painfully. And now he knew there was nothing he can do, except for the fact to completely move on. This time to not bury away the feelings but to kill every single feelings towards siya. She was his sister-in-law and he will respect and treat her like that.
"I thought of being sweet and affectionate towards you." He stated leaning towards arushi a bit. Arushi frowned. Ayansh smiled his hands raised towards her face as he tucks away the piece of hair behind her ear. "We both fight a lot I agree but I want to give this relationship a chance. I want to move forward in this relationship."
Arushi scrunched her face and sighed. "When were we even stuck in this relationship ayansh? We were always moving forward. I seduced you on our wedding night and we fucked each other with our hearts full of hatred. We go to parties we get drunk and fuck each other. We fight a lot but we support each other too."
Ayansh shook his head cupping her face. "That's the problem arushi. We fuck to get the heat and frustration out of our system. I want to have a real relationship with you. Going on dates, treating each other, sweet kisses and affections like that. Can you give me that?"
Arushi closed her eyes hearing his words. And then opened it a second later. Her lips curved in a smile and she nodded in yes. "But don't except this relation to be free of fights."
Ayansh chuckled. "You are a headstrong girl arushi and we have different opinions. We will always fight but we will talk and reconcile later. Okay?"
Arushi nodded. Ayansh closed their gaps as he placed his lips on hers. She smiled joining in the kiss. Ayansh deepened the kiss as his hand went round her neck clutching it and pulling her towards him more.
