A week later, right before class, Carter, Ronnie and I were sitting in my bedroom, having a team meeting. My computer camera and microphone were off, so our homeroom teacher couldn't hear us.

"Allie, I came up with a few ideas for your suit. I brought the designs for you to try on and see which one you like best."  I looked at Carter as he pulled out multiple suits from his bag.  Each one was a different color with various patterns.  Except for the last one.  The last suit was plain royal blue with black, zip-up boots.

"Hmm...well, I like this one the best, but I'm gonna try on the others, too." I shrugged. "Maybe I'll like one of the others better once it's on."

"Allison Price?" I heard our homeroom teacher, Mr. Miner, call.  Carter quickly hid the suits as I turned on my camera and microphone.

"Here!  Carter Michaels and Veronica Yu are here, too, Mr. Miner."  Mr. Miner nodded and looked down at his attendance sheet.

"Good.  I'll just note them present, too.  Hannah Greene?"

I muted my microphone and turned off my camera as Carter pulled the suits out again. I picked up the first one, a red-and-black suit with an ankle-length black cape. I zipped into the bathroom across the hall and changed into the suit. When I came out, I gave Carter a kind of awkward look.

"Well...it definitely fits...?" Carter snorted and shook his head.

"Sure, it fits. I have your size memorized, Allie, mostly because you keep asking me to help you tailor some of your clothes...but...it's not really your style." I nodded.

"It's definitely not my style."

I picked up the second suit and zipped back into the bathroom to change.  The second suit was a black-and-yellow one, with the color scheme making me almost look like a bumblebee. Oh, God. I love Carter's fashion sense and skills, but this is awful. I walked out into my bedroom and cringed at Carter.

"This is definitely not what I would wear at all." Ronnie and Carter both nodded.

"Definitely not the right one," Carter said, as I put the first suit down next to him. I picked up the next suit and zipped back into the bathroom. The third suit was royal blue with strips of yellow around the legs and arms, like the workout clothes I'd been wearing previously. It didn't look bad particularly, it just wasn't quite right. I walked out to show Carter and Ronnie. Ronnie grinned at me and nodded.

"That definitely looks more like your style." Carter nodded slowly as he studied me in the suit.

"It's good, but..."

"But is it really what Shadowsnow would wear?" I finished for Carter. Both of my best friends gave me surprised looks.

"Shadowsnow?" They asked in unison. I shrugged.

"Teleporter called me 'shadow and snow girl'. She was trying to insult me, but I think she actually helped give my alter ego a name. So, it seemed only appropriate to call myself Shadowsnow." Neither of them argued with me.  Carter held out the last suit to me.

"Here.  Try this one on.  It's the last one I have for you right now." I nodded and took the suit, zipping back into the bathroom. This last suit was all blue with black, flat boots. I came back out and showed off the suit, grinning.

"Now, this is a suit. I just have one question." Ronnie and Carter flashed each other a knowing look as I finished speaking.

"Before you ask your question, Carter and I have something for you. He worked on the design and I worked on making this." I raised an eyebrow at Ronnie.

"Making what?" Ronnie pulled out a pair of black aviator sunglasses and held them out to me.

"These. Put them on." I rolled my eyes as I took them.

"Another pair of sunglasses? Guys, you know I have way too many of these," I answered as I put the glasses on. Suddenly, the lenses started scanning everything in the room. "Whoa." Ronnie grinned as she crossed her arms.

"Not just another pair of sunglasses, huh?"

"Definitely not."

I looked at Ronnie and her name popped up on the lenses. Underneath her name, a series of facts about her showed up. Everything from her age to her grade in school appeared on the lenses.

"This is so cool. These lenses are like-"

"Mini-screens. Tap the nosepiece of the glasses." I followed Ronnie's instructions and the scanning feature disappeared. "Now, they're just ordinary sunglasses." Carter smirked as he relaxed in my desk chair.

"Unless you tap the left side of the glasses."

I flashed him a look but tapped the side of the glasses. Suddenly, there was a soft click and I could feel the shape of the glasses changing as if they were adjusting to fit my face. Ronnie tapped something on her phone and turned it to face me. Her camera. She's got it flipped toward me.

"Now take a look," Ronnie told me. I looked into the camera and gasped. My new aviators had completely changed into a mask that covered my eyes and my eyebrows.

"Now, that's seriously cool. How did you two even do this?" I asked, looking at them.

"Well...part of it is that I borrowed materials to create the nanobots which react to your fingerprint on the side..." Ronnie started.

"And part of it is that we took a pair of your favorite aviators and modified them to look cooler," Carter finished.  I grin as I tap the side of my mask again.  Instantly, I felt it transform back into a pair of aviators.  "And no one will ever know the difference."
