Chapter 3

(Third Person)

Shortly After their little chat, korra dozed off and woke up as the plane was landing. "what's up? is there a turbulence!? mom, dad, i love you!" Korra rambled as she thought the plane was falling, and that she was going to die.

"Korra, calm down. The plane is landing, oh and—" Korra's mother was trying to calm her daughter down, before she was interrupted by her husband.

"—We love you too." Tonraq finished Senna's sentence. Senna playfully glared at her significant other as she ran her soft hands up and down Korra's back, trying to soothe her 'hyperventilation'.

The speaker soon went off and the captain announced that they had landed, and that they could get off the plane.

—after they got to the Air Temple—
—Korra's p.o.v—

"Wow.." I said, amazed. "That's not even the best part," My father smirked. "wait till' you see the city."

Air temple Island looked VERY familiar to me. Yet i couldn't make out where i saw it from, i shrugged it off thinking it was probably from a newspaper or something. "Senna! Tonraq! It's so good to see you again!" A woman called out running, a baby in her arms. "Pema!" My mother called out, "It's so amazing seeing you again aswell!" She smiled as she pulled the woman into a tight embrace. She looked ecstatic to see her friend, i could tell they were close. "Hey, Pema." My father said giving her a half-hug. The woman smiled in return.

I just stood there awkwardly behind my parents because, i didn't know this woman, yet she looked so familiar. "And you must be Korra?" The woman smiled as she continued. "You've grown so much, the last time i saw you you were still learning how to memorize the multiplication table!" She beamed. So, i've met her when i was younger, explains why she looks so familiar, but where have i seen this place before?

I shrugged the feeling off, maybe i've been here when i was younger? I smiled at the woman and gave her a slight nod. My mom walked back up to Pema as she booped the little infant's nose. "And who is this cutie?" Mom asked, i think she was trying to imitate a baby voice.

"This," The woman started, "is Rohan, Tenzin and I just recently had him."

"Speaking of Tenzin, Where is he?" My father asked looking around.

"Off at the City, you know, him and his political duties," Pema sighed. I felt bad for her, it looked like her husband wasn't around very much. "MOOOOOOOM! IKKI HIT ME!" A voice came booming down the hallway. "I DID NOT!" another voice, "keep it down, i'm trying to meditate.", 'jesus, how many kids do they have?'

two young women and a little boy came around, the boy looked furious while the young girl was annoyed, both of them looked annoyed actually.

"Meelo, Jinora, Ikki, nice seeing you again!" My mother beamed. "Senna! hello!" The taller girl came around and hugged my mother. The other two looked at eachother quizzically. "Who-" the girl started, "WHO ARE YOU??" The young man who i assume is Meelo yelled.

"Jinora, Ikki, Meelo, these are my friends, Senna and Tonraq." Pema said, gesturing to my parents. "And this, is their daughter Korra." She said smiling at her children.

The girl who i assume is Ikki came up to me, looking at me up and down, "You're tall." (plspls guys we love a tall korra amiright 🤧)

I chuckled and thanked her. Pema offered me and my parents some food, so we ate, took a rest while my parents and Pema were catching up. "So, Korra, seeing anyone special?" Pema smirked at me. I could feel my face heating up as i shook my head no, flustered.

A few hours later, we were off. Off into the City, Jinora offered to give us a tour and we happily agreed.
