Alex he saw I had completely forgotten about the most crucial thing.

"HEY, your laptop. Take it with you."

I gave a break to my speed, turned back and collected my laptop.

"Oh, I almost forgot it."

I shouted while running ran toward the presentation hall.

"Thanks, Alexi. "

Weekends were a blessing to me. After polishing back the mountains of work and stacks of studies.

I got up later than normal weekdays. I wasn't in a rush because it was a holiday. Despite the fact that I had opted to spend my time constructively. So tossed the blanket aside. Got myself ready and steered for a morning jog. A morning workout at the seashore gave some ease up on my mind and body.

On a pink sunny morning, I went to the beach, took a big breath, and started running. After a few miles of jogging, I had noticed someone in the water. I came to a halt because I suspected he was struggling to comeback on the surface. His boat had been turned upside down, he appeared to be injured. And was drowning instead of swimming back to the coast.

I made up my mind to help him. I plunged in the water immediately. The waves were crashing the shore heavily. It threw me back to the coast multiple times. Still, I tried once again to reach him but one big wave drowned me into it. I tried to swim back. However, the force of water pushed me inside the water.

I managed to rise to the surface to catch my breath, but another powerful wave slammed into me, hurling me deep under the sea. I began to lose breathe as I was struggling so hard. The limit was going to be reached. I needed to come to the surface to breathe again, but all of my efforts were futile.

At last, I was chocked. My brain went numb. And about to get unconscious when a black silhouette appeared hazily on the surface. I was helplessly drowning under the cold water. The scattered sun light on the surface gradually disappearing as I was sinking in. Suffocation overwhelmed me . I shut my eyes.

"What's this?"

I felt some sensation. The sensation of warmth covered one of my hands and then my west. I opened my eyes to see. A blurred black figure was inched away to me then it enveloped me entirely. Every touch boosted the strong sensation of warmth on my body.

In a flash, I was being pulled upwards and came back on the surface. I gasped few more time and started coughing. Then I realized I was safely landed on the coast. I looked hear and there with my blurry eyes, then I noticed a guy with a surfboard, helping the man who was lying on the ground next to me.

I got up quickly and dusted off the sand from me when realized that man who was drowning saved by this gentleman. Actually, he saved both of us. I couldn't see him properly as his back was facing me when he was helping that man.

I thanked him for saving us.

"Thank you for helping us, Mister."

He was preoccupied with that injured man. After hearing my comments, he turned his head towards me, and our gazes are linked. His deep-sea eyes seemed to be engaged with mine.

For a brief moment, everything stopped. And my eyes forgot to blink. Suddenly I heard a wobbly "thank you" from somewhere. It was also same individual who expressed his thanks for saving him. And our eye contact broke. The gentleman just simply gave a compassionate smile. I was standing on his left side when I spotted a dimple appear on his cheek when he grinned.

My brows furrowed in surprise. I casted a glimpse at his hand, and guess what? I observed the identical tattoo on his wrist again. The tattoo I had noticed on that charming guy's hand that rainy night.
