Three days later, after Scarlet had finished work she headed to meet Hannibal for dinner.
"Today was quite rough at work. I wish they gave us more time to inspect and gather evidence on the dead bodies, not just tweety hour dead-line. I really hope there won't be another murder like the one I had once come across. Just, horrible, we couldn't find any evidence at all. This killer must be an intelligent psychopath," she sighs as she thought to herself while driving home from work.
Little does she know there will be one. Hannibal had committed a murder a few days ago, however it hasn't been discovered yet.
After Scarlet had driven home, she recieved a call from Hannibal Lecter.
"Greetings, Scarlet. Will you join us for dinner tonight at 8PM? I hope you will, it would be a pleasure to see you." Hannibal warmly said.
"Of course I will. I have just reached home, and I am preparing myself for your dinner. By the wau, may I inquire, who exactly is "us"?" She inquired, driven by curiosity.
Apologizing to Scarlet, he said, "My apologizes that I had not informeerimise you earlier. I've also invited Alana, if that's alright with you?"
"That's quite alright. Is it then three of us dining?"
"Yes, I believe it would be a wonderful time dining together. Anyway, the dinner is in an hour, so I won't bother you any longer. Please, get ready for dinner, and we'll talk then. Take care, and see you in an hour, Scarlet." Hannibal said, wrapping up this call, giving Scarlet time to prepare for the dinner.
"Thank you, and we'll see each other then, Hnanibal," Finally Scarlet concluded, ending the call.
With a thought to choose an elegantic dress out, Scarlet walked to her bedroom. She took her steps to the closet, opened it, and saw many different clothes.
"I think this long, dark red silky dress should be fine. It looks beautiful, and hopefully it will suit the dinner's theme. I wonder what Hannibal is going to cook us," Scarlet pondered, while taking the red dress out of the closet, admiring it.
In her bedroom, she changed her work clothes for a beautiful, charming dress. Her intention isn't to impress Hannibal—however, she finds him fascinating and intriguing.
Then, in her bathroom, she styled her lovely, silky, long, blonde hair into beautiful curls.
As she looked at herself in the mirror, she considered on how her makeup should be done."This is beautiful. I'm going to add makeup as well, but not too much. The usual amount, like always. Some mascara, and foundation, and it should be enough."
Lastly, she rushed to her bedroom, got her black purse, and ran to her car. It was a thirsty minute drive to Hannibal's house, and she already seems to be late.
"God damnit, I can't be late!" She muttered to herself, hastly locking her house's front door, and sprinting to her car in her silky dress and gorgeous dark red heels.
As she was driving to Hannibal's house, she made a call to him.
"Hannibal, I'm so sorry! I'll to be a little late for your dinner. I'm usually tardy, so I'm sorry for my bad manners. I'll arrive at 8.15 PM, if that's okay?" She sincerely apologized, as she did not want to appear rude to Hannibal.
"Scarlet, everything's alright. It's okay, I am glad that you have informed me ahead. Thank you for calling, and you don't have to be sorry. Accidents happen," He replied to her understandingly. It did not seem to her that he was mad at her at all.
She sighed in relief, "Thank you for being understanding with me. Is Alana already there?" Scarlet inquired in curiousity.
"Indeed, she has already arrived. The foods are prepared as well, you will see when you will arrive."
