Do people like those in old movies still exist?
People that feel so deeply
like Shakespeare wrote they did
I've been searching for those since I was young
In fact, trying to become one of their own
But whilst on my search I came to realize
We are now too scared to feel like those who lived before
We've forgotten emotions are to the soul
Like water to the plants
Unseen roots of life
Meant to be felt and not analyzed
Awoken to the modern world
Even I am careful not to love too much
Yet I wonder very much
When I should draw the line
Between exteriorizing a feeling and losing my pride
I fail to find the answers
As to why curing agony with love could be bad
Isn't it just the intense human crave
Of a peaceful and harmless life?
I was born to feel as much as I can
Not to be caged
Not to become a flightless bird
When my wings work perfectly fine
I shall be brave
And keep the window of my soul open
Transform emotions into rhythmic words
Not to brag of a mature voice
But to prove myself feeling is not wrong
