"I literally have the worst headache of my life" I whisper into Lewis' ear, as we stand in the paddock, boringly looking out at the usual rain at Spa.
"Trust me, it can't be anywhere near how horrible mine is" Lewis answers, laughing as he puts on a pair of sunglasses, to hide his tired eyes.
We both completely lost ourselves last night. I honestly don't remember anything after the incident with Lando. All I know is that somehow I woke up in my hotel room.
"Evelyn!!" A very familiar voice squeals, and I immediately turn my head. As my eyes meet with the sweet blonde girl, I quickly run up to her.
"Oh Juliet!" I exclaim, as I squeeze my best friend into my arms. I hold her close to me for a bit, before I unwillingly pull away.
"I have so much to tell you!" I whisper-shout to her, with an excited expression. "How did you get here?" I ask her.
"Your dad invited me" She responds, nodding her head over at my dad. He's leaning against the wall, a smile wiped over his face.
"Oh thank you so much dad" I say, quickly running up to him and giving him a hug. He laughs, as he wraps his arms around me.
"Excuse me, what!?!" Juliet shouts after I tell her everything that has been going on with Charles and Lando. We are sitting on a balcony, catching up with each other before qualifying started.
"Have you spoken to Charles?" She asks me, referring to the fact he had a girl under his arm last night. "No, and I don't want to" I quickly respond.
It's the biggest lie. Of course I want to talk to him. I want him to tell me it was nothing, that she was just a friend.
"I can't believe you have 2 drivers drooling over you, and you're being this calm" She says and I laugh in response.
"First of all, no one is drooling over me" I remark, which causes Juliet to raise her eyebrows at me in question. "But trust me, I am totally freaking out" I add with laugh, as I feel my phone ping in my pocket.
It was a text from Charles.
I pass over my phone to Juliet, to show her the texts. A smile slowly forms onto her lips as she reads the messages.
"Well what are you doing girl? Go get your man!" Juliet exclaims, forcing me to get up. I roll my eyes at her, but eventually I give in and head down to the back door.
"Hey" I say, when I step outside, causing Charles to turn around at the sound of my voice. He instantly walks up to me, his eyes giving away a stressed expression.
"I have to make this quick Eve, but please just listen to me" Charles says, his eyes constantly trying to lock with mine, but I refuse.
"Stop calling me Eve, but sure go ahead" I respond, looking down at the ground, as I lean back against the wall.
