4. Tree

-Aemond POV-

"Princess how lovely to see you." My mother greeted my future wife, "Your grace, Aemond." She greeted me coldly, she stared at me a bit and I froze under her gaze, how those blue eyes cut through my eyepatch.

"Princess, sister." I greeted my half-sister who was still on her dragon, "Aemond, your grace." "Princess Alyssa should I show you your room where you will be staying for the time being?" I asked her, "What do you mean for the time being?" She asked me.

"Well when we marry you will live in my apartments." I said as if it was a well known fact, "Oh." She said.

Oh? Why would she say oh? Does she not want to live with me in our apartments when we're married? "Will you please take me there?" She said to me, "Yes, come with me." I said, I walked ahead of her so I would not see or have to speak with her.

We arrived to the room which was place below mine, "Why can I not just live in this room?" She asked from behind me, "I assume if I ask, you could sleep here, and I am already in the above the room." I answered her, she looked surprised to know that I was beside her in everything literally.

"Yes, I would like that." She told me, "I will arrange it for you." I said to her, I looked behind her to see my grandfather staring at me intensely, "Would you like to go a walk in the gardens with me?" I asked her, "I suppose." She said confused.

I extended my arm for her to take, but she didn't, "Lead the way." She told me, I followed her command as if I was a soldier.

-The Garden-
-Alyssa POV-

Aemond walked in front of me, I had told him to even after he offered his hand which I wouldn't take in a million years, I stopped at a bunch of flowers, they were blue.

I heard footsteps and saw a hand pluck the flowers out the garden, "Here." Aemond said to me, "What do you mean here?" "You keep staring at it, might as well have it." I felt disappointed but took the flowers still.

"Do you hate me Aemond?" I asked him, he stared at me for a second, "Of course I do, you took my eye, and for that I will have revenge." "So you only agreed to this marriage for revenge?" "Yes. What else for?"

-Flashback-

"I love you Alyssa, I promise you I will marry you one day." Aemond told me, I was on top of a tree branch and he was right below me, "Very unlikely." I sung, "Why?" He asked me.

"Your mom hates my mom." I said, I positioned myself on the tree where I stared down at him, "So? I will take you away and marry you, either way I will marry you."

We were 10 years old.
