17. Children

-WARNING CHILDBIRTH-

I held the sheets, "Somebody get this thing out of me!" I shouted, I had began my labor's in the early morning, it was still dark outside.

Alicent, Helaena, Baela, Rhaena, Leyla, and my mother were in the room with me, Aemond insisted to be in here with me when I delivered our child but our female relatives refused.

I pushed again on the command of the midwife, "Try another push this time longer your grace!" The lady's goiter to me, I nodded my head and began to push longer, my mother held on of my hands, and Helaena held the other, "You can do this Aly." Helaena said to me, my head fell back in surrender.

"I can't just cut me open." I said, "No you will not touch her!" My mother commanded, "Alyssa when I gave birth to you I felt the same way, but once I held you in my arms all pain went away, so push." I did as she said and out came, "A girl your grace!" I laughed in happiness.

I expected to the pain to be other, but it wasn't, "Ow!" I yelled, the midwife looked, "There's another babe in her!" She said happily, I felt like jumping off this building, "Push!" The midwife commanded which I did, "Again!" I wanted to still jump, "I can't give birth again!" I said to her.

"Aly, when I gave birth to my twins it hurt too but I had to push and out came the most beautiful babes ever and you will do the same." She said to me, I nodded and gave three final pushed and out came, "A boy your grace!" "Thank the mother!" Alicent yelled.

I gasped, "Please make sure nobody else is down there!" I yelled, my mother laughed and the lady checked, "No one else your grace." I treated easy till I felt pain again, "I thought you said no one else!" "The afterbirth!" One woman yelled.

"Push!" I gave a push and out came something that I did not want to know what it was, "Can I hold my babies?" I asked, "Yes your grace." A milkmaid came over with both to her chest, they were swaddled in a towel.

Aemond immediately bursted in, "Where is she?" He asked, I peeked from my bedroom, "Over here my love." I said to him, he ran over to me and my mother took some steps away from us.

"Can we be alone please?" Aemond asked, everyone nodded and left us and we waited to speak till the door was slammed shut, "How are you?" He asked me, "The labor was horrible, but we got through it." "We?" He said to me, I nodded and used my head to direct him to the two babes in my arms.

"Bless the seven." He said in a whisper as he touched our babies heads, "There's two of them now?" I laughed at his words, "What are we going to name them?" I asked him, "I though we already discussed it." He mumbled as he stared in awe at the babes.

"So they will be named Rhaegar and Daeny's then?" I asked him, "I have no objections, I just want to see you happy." He said looking down at me, I leaned up to kiss him which he accepted, "Six weeks." I said in his mouth.

"Six weeks? What do you mean?" "That's how long you have to wait the maesters and midwife's said." He hung his head in disbelief, "Whatever shall I do?" He said, "I guess I can always go to one of those whore houses Aegon goes to." He jested.

"Touch another woman or have sex with one, I will feed you to Maegor myself, and Vhagar can watch." I told him, he laughed and kisssed me again.
