10. Sapphire

They grabbed Ameond from the grass and ran him quickly in his room where they would perform on him, I chose to stay in my room the entire time.

It has been two days since Aemond fell off his horse and went into a deep sleep, everyone was scared, but at some point yesterday they left him alone, think that he would tell them if he awoke, only Alicent stayed for hours and left for dinner and wouldn't return till the next morning.

I walked to the wall and opened the door that connected me and his, I knew everyone was in bed at this point so I knew nobody would be with Aemond.

I opened the door and smelt wine, I was so confused since I know nobody has drank wine in days since his accident, I ignored it though.

I saw Aemond laying down in his bed in a nightgown, his eye patch was off, I saw a blue in the stead of where I cut his eye out.

I walked closer to him to see the familiar sapphire that once looked like it was around my neck, I was about to touch it before a hand stopped me, "What do you think your doing wife?" I looked in horror as I saw Aemond staring daggers at me, "Your awake?" "Have been. Now why are you here?"

"How long?" I asked him, "How long what?" He said annoyed at me not answering his question, "Have you been awake?" "Since yesterday night. Now why are you in my chambers?" He answered me so I should answer him, "Why didn't nobody tell me?" Ignoring him, "Because nobody knows. Now one last chance why are you in my chambers?"

"I came to check in on you." I finally answered him, he lowered my arm onto his stomach, "Oh?" He said, "Why would you care about me?" He asked, he held my arm still at stomach for a reason, "I married you have to keep appearances for our sakes." He moved my hand lower.

"That's wrong, you came through the secret passage, if you really wanted to see me you would've used the main doors." He said with a smirk, "Where did you get the sapphire?" I asked him.

His smirk dropped and he let go off my hand, "Go to your room Alyssa." He told me, "Why shou-" "I said go to your room Alyssa!" He yelled at me, I moved away from him when he yelled, "Fine." I stated.
