8. The bedding

I was hurried to my room and out of my dress, "Sit on the bed now." Leyla told me, I nodded but was very nervous about what was to happen next to me.

A knock came at the door, "I bet it's the septon and your new husband!" One of the girls squealed, I rolled my eyes at her squealing, "Open it." I commanded which they listened, it was just Aemond in the same attire he was at the wedding.

"Leave us." He said while staring at me, they nodded and bowed, "Your graces." I stood up as the door closed, "Husband." "Wife." I rocked myself on my feet, "We are to do the act now yes?" I asked, he looked at me for a while and laughed.

"Lay down." He told me, I looked at him for a second but did it anyway, "Hand me your foot." He told me as he got to my bedside, I gave him it and he pulled out a dagger, "This might sting." He did a small cut on my foot where nobody could see.

He squeezed it a bit where blood was dripping, "For both of our reputations." He told me, he put back his dagger and went to the wall, "I thought we were going to-" "We were going to what? Have sex? Oh no my dear wife, I have no intention of doing the act with you unless I need to."

I felt weirdly disappointed, "Why are you at the wall, if I may ask?" I asked, he opened a door from my wall, "This is a passage way form my room towards yours, I doubt we will ever need to use it though." He told me.

I nodded my head as I watched him flee through the door.

I closed the hallway door that connected me and Alyssa rooms and sat on the bed, I took of my too attire and left on my pants.

I stared at Alyssa and saw she was still on the dance floor talking to the bore Ser Robert Royce, he is handsome I will give him that, even Helaena had a crush on him at some point, but why would Aly?

I stood up and made my way to the mirror, I took off my eyepatch and saw my sapphire eye.

I was 13 years old and holding the same necklace I took off of Alyssa neck 2 years ago.

I turned around to see my mother, "What is that Aemond?" She asked me, "My future eye." I simply told her.

I knew I couldn't have Alyssa here with me, nor did I really want her near me to anyone or anything that would ask, but I would like a piece of her.
