Chapter 26

A few months after I was rescued, Johanna proposed. Of course I said yes.

We decided to get married with Finnick and his fiance, Annie. Annie was the red head from the plane.

I wore a beautiful white dress.

Johanna waited at the end of the isle with Finnick.

Me and Annie interlocked our arms and made or ways to them.

Jo was wearing a gorgeous mint green dress and holding a bouquet.

When me and Annie made it to the alter, we released arms, only to be join hands with our partners.

Johanna's hands were sweaty. I could tell she was nerves. I just shot her a quick smile.

The priest did his whole speech. Then came the important parts. He handle Annie and Finnick first. Then came me and Johanna.

"Jin, I have loved since I saw you win your games. You were strong and independent. You didn't take crap from anyone. But at the same time you were compassionate. And I love that about you. Even though you've changed over the years. Your compassion, bravery, and independence haven't changed. Neither has my love for you. I promise you it never will." Johanna vowed.

"Jo, you where my idol, friend, girlfriend, and fiance. Our relationship has had many titles. But I've always knew I was in love with you. When you were my idol I thought I had no shot with you. After all I was just a desperate girl, trying to provide for her brother. I wish I could tell that girl many things. Like how she would win her games, how she would lose her brother, and lastly that Johanna Mason would be her wife. And I promise you I will be try to be the best wife possible." I vowed.

He asked Annie and Finnick if they do take each other. Then he turned towards us.

"Do you Johanna, take this woman as your loftly wedded wife? In sickness and in health? For rich or for poor? For as long as you both shall live?" The priest asked Johanna.

"I do." She didn't break eye contact with me. Johanna place the ring on my finger. It was nothing to fancy. It was a small diamond on a silver band. I loved it though.

"Do you Jin, take this woman as your loftly wedded wife? In sickness and in health? For rich or for poor? For as long as you both shall live?"

I smiled. "I do."

"Then I now pronounce these 2 couples married." The priest announced. "Johanna and Finnick, you my now kiss your brides."

Johanna moved her hands from in mine to one my back. She place her lips on mine.

We walked down the isle as the  Flavia Mason family.

It felt weird to think that. I hadn't had a family since Chris died. It was weird but really nice.
