Chapter 2
About 20 minutes after Chris left, another peacekeeper came in and guided me to the train. That is where me and Leo meet our mentor Cashimere.
We got off the train to meet our stylist, Skylar Hanin. He took me and Leo's measurements for our tributes parade and interview outfits.
I just hung out in my room until I had to get ready for the parade about 3 hours after Skylar had the measurements.
Then he brought up a beauty gold dress that had a long feathery train, with a gold and diamond tiara.
I went down to where the carriages where. Leo was already there. He was eating an orange. He wore a blue suit with a gold ish shirt under it. He had a huge crown on.
"Wow." He almost dropped his orange. "You look stunning."
"Thanks." I smile. "You don't look to bad yourself."
"Tributes please take your places in your carriage." A person said over the intercom.
Me and Leo got in ours, then we saw Cashimere. "Do what ever it takes to get a loud cheer. You need to gain sponsors." I nodded and I assume Leo did too because she nodded back then walked away.
A few seconds later, our carriage took off. Me and Leo smiled and waved. It was getting very few cheer. "Do you trust me?" I asked.
He nodded.
I leaned into him. I placed my lips on his. The crowd erupted with cheer. He then put his hand on my back. I rested my head on his shoulder.
We reached the end. We waited for the other carriages to arrive. Then we got out all in a line.
Before we could go to the sweet we had to get a picture in front of this luxurious background. The photographer snapped the photo and me and Leo went up to our sweet.
We got some rest for the week of training that was starting tomorrow.
