After the day our parents talked about this arranged marriage thing, I ended up explaining it to Chen before it got too late.
"Please understand." I begged after I was done explaining the whole thing to him.
He didn't look into my eyes. Instead, he stared at the ground with a blank expression on his face.
"You played me. You used me to get Kai back." He growled under his breath.
I grabbed his wrists and said, "No, Jongdae. I never used you. I know that you like me very much, but it's something you can't avoid."
He pulled his wrists away from my hands and looked into my eyes.
"I loved you." His eyes started swelling up with tears.
Without hesitation, I leaned in and gave him a hug.
"I'm sorry, Jongdae. I really wish I could be with you. You treated me with respect and honesty, and I really like that." I whispered into his ear.
He pushed me away from him.
"Get out." He pointed to the door.
"I'm sorry."
"Get. Out."
My eyes started to burn from his anger and yelling at me.
All girls are sensitive, you know?
I got up and walked toward the door.
Before I opened the door and left, I turned my head back to him and said,
"Tell the rest of the EXO members what I told you today."

After a week of the meeting, all of SM knew about the marriage arrangement.
Oh, I literally mean all of SM.
Yes, the idol groups too.
Jessica literally started congratulating me after she heard about the news.
"Aish, nae dongsaeng~" She ruffled my hair.
I swatted her hand away from my hair and glared at her.
"You know exactly what Jongin did to me."
She shrugged.
"That's the past, Krystal. He might've changed."
Pffft.
He's still as thirsty as ever.
Having a girlfriend, who was his noona of 5 years, but wanting to be friends with your ex?
No way on earth would that happen.
"Unnie, what will the fans do?" I asked, grabbing her hands.
She burst out laughing.
"When idols come out to be dating someone, they're bashed. You would be the one who would be cursed at the most, 'cause EXO has so many fans and a lot of crazy fans..."
I just stared at the bracelets on her wrist as I listened to her.
"Can't I just keep it a secret?"
"Haha, no. You'll be wearing a diamond ring on your ring finger."
I closed my eyes and started meditating.
"Hey, Soojung. What are you doing? Meditating?" She tapped my shoulder.
I nodded.
"Aigoo. I see. I'll leave now." She said without emotion.
I opened my eyes and grabbed her arm.
"Don't leave me. I'm scared of what everyone thinks of me now. What if a crazy fan comes up to me?"
"A crazy fan can't come into the SM building."
"I mean the fans inside of SM." I coughed sarcastically.
Jessica thought about it for a second.
A lightbulb clicked in her head.
"Ah, you mean Luna? She might be a fan, but she's not a sasaeng fan." Jessica chuckled and pulled her arm away from my grip.
"I have to go train now. I'll see you later, love." She kissed my cheek and left me alone in the SM lunch room.
I'm so dead.
