After she was transferred back to the United States of America, she was still confined from the hospital while Mark continuously sleeps and chatted with her about their day together Her relatives and in-laws had yet to visit her considering they all had given her a specific schedule but all three of her cousins have visited her without a doubt.
Leigh sat down while she manages to get up and decide to walk by the gardens of the hospital because she knows that she felt like she is still held captive.
She walked downstairs to the garden while she walks towards the bench. Leigh held her stomach as she mindlessly hold it.
Leigh held her stomach while she silently weeps at the loss of her baby. She notices another person sitting beside her when she heard a throat cleared beside her. She turned her head to them to see an old woman with a smile at her. "Young lady, it is nice to meet you. I am Deirdre. What is your name?"
"It is nice to meet you too. I am Leigh but my full name is Deirdre Lorelei Ventura. Why are you here, Deirdre?" Leigh stated while Deirdre smiled at her.
"Ah, are you the granddaughter of Agent Giovanni Ventura from Interpol?" Deirdre continued to ask while Leigh nodded at her with a smile.
"You quite look like his eldest son and the wife of his son. I have heard that Lex had difficulty of having a child. Are you having the same struggle as your parents did?" Deirdre continued while Leigh nodded as she have known her parents' struggle of having her. She knows having the same problems were completely genetic.
"I had miscarriage recently and we were married for two years already. I am feeling stressed because I am scared that I would never have a child with my husband."
"It is such a difficult time for me to continue keeping my emotion's at bay." Leigh continued as she cries in front of the complete stranger.
"I understand your struggles and difficulties because I never managed to have a child with anyone. I had several pregnancies but it always ended with miscarriage's or stillbirth's." Deirdre replied at her while Leigh looked at her curiously knowing the topic was such a personal matter but she knows how hard it is to be always told that she needs to get married and have children.
"You do not have to tell me about your struggle's considering it is a very sensitive and personal matter." Leigh replied while Deirdre smiled at her.
"I have learned to accept it. Yes, it is quite sensitive but it depends on the person who talks about it." Deirdre replied with a smile to her.
"Amor," Leigh heard a familiar voice as she turned and saw Mark in his business attire. He walks towards her direction as he kisses her cheek while she smiles at him. "I thought, you have escaped from the hospital after finding your room empty." He continued as she moved a little as he sat beside her.
"I think, my nurse would be finding me now." Deirdre stated leaving the married couple together as Mark held Leigh's hand entwining it with his.
"Who is she?" Mark curiously asked while she smiled at him replying, "Probably, a colleague or friend of my paternal grandfather. We have the same name as well. She was named Deirdre."
Mark nodded at her with a smile. He was not able to deliver the message which he has planned to do. Leigh would soon be discharged from the hospital. "Amore, when do you think I would be discharged and be able to work once again? It seemed like it is tiring to continue being in a hospital. I feel like I am still held captive, to be honest."
