I woke up to an empty spot beside me. "Gabe?" I yawned out. I heard talking down the hall, and decided to check it out.
"Please! Just ask her!" Ashton's voice rang out. "What if she doesn't want to? Why can't you ask her?!" Gabe retorted. "I already did...." She responded. "Fine.. I will ask her.. She is probably still sleeping.." He said. I ran back to the room, and jumped under the covers. Just then, Gabe came and woke me up.
"Sugar? Hey, wake up!" He whispered. I fluttered my eyes, and faked a yawn. "Yes?" I asked him innocently. He smiled," Okay so, Ashton has this really good plan to steal a really cool artifact from a highly guarded museum.. We were uh... Wondering if maybe, you would want to help?" He asked, scratching the back of his neck. I grinned. "Sounds like fun!" He smiled, "Great! Well, meet us in the dining hall, same spot as usual, and we can discuss plans!" He said, and then walked out of the door.
I hopped up, and ran to the closet. On my first day here, the servants were told to buy me clothes I would like. They did a pretty good job..
I put on a pair of black skinny jeans, loose fitting t-shirt, and my black converse. Brushing my hair, I looked into the mirror. "I am soooo ugly..." I laughed. I made fun of myself, but never bothered to care. Looks don't matter.
After I had gotten ready, I started to walk to the dining hall. Walking past a window, I swear I saw something or someone watching me. I turned and looked around, but found no one. I figured it was just my imagination. That was when I heard a 'cry for help' and decided to check it out.
I slipped outside, and looked around. No one... Just as I turned around, I felt a hand grab my shoulder. I turned to look, but I was hit with something strong.
Then, there was darkness.
