Today is the day I finally get out of the hospital.
Gabe, Ashton, and I are going out to celebrate. Usually, I would be fine with a sandwich, but they insisted. I was getting ready back at the academy, when I heard a knock on the door.
"Hello?" I asked, slipping on my regular outfit. White tank top, black and white flannel, black skinny jeans, and black converse. Maybe I should add color to my outfit....
"Harper, are you ready to go?" Gabe's voice asked form the other side of the door. "Uh... Give me a few minutes!" I called back. After I got no reply, I continued to get ready. I curled my hair, and applied makeup. I don't usually apply makeup, but like I said, tonight is special.
"Wow... You look beautiful!" Gabe said, staring at me. I blushed,"It's not that great.... Have you seen my outfit?" I joked. He took it seriously... "Hey! You are beautiful no matter what you are wearing, or whether you wear make up or not. Honestly, I could care less about the make up!" He assured. I blushed again, and I could feel his soft eyes staring at me. "Alright.. Let's go." I said, motioning for him to follow me.
"Ashton, are you ready?" I asked her. She called back from her bathroom, "Yes, just give me like two seconds, okay?" "Alright!" I yelled again. I walked over to a chair, and sat down. Gabe had followed, and sat next to me. He took my hand, and looked me in the eye. "I am gonna kill Noah." He stated. I laughed at this, and looked down at my shoes. "Seriously. It's my fault. I could've protected you, but I didn't. I am so sorry Harper. No one will ever hurt you again, understand?" He said to me. I smiled, "It wasn't your fault. There was nothing you could've done. Thank god you got there when you did, or I would have been dead!" I responded. Just then, he leaned in and kissed me.I melted into the kiss, and wrapped my arms around his neck. "I am so sorry, baby..." He whispered into my ear. "It's okay Gabe.. Nothing was your fault.."
We had the best dinner any one could ever hope for.
