"Ar-Arson..."

The bag fell from his hand and crashed audibly on the ground, shattering the gift inside it into a million pieces. The blue haired lad stood dumbfounded at the threshold of the doorstep, unable to move an inch, visibly shaking all over in a shock of an unexpected astonishment. He was all frozen in terms of actions, yet his brain rummaged a thousand thoughts, going in all directions yet ending up with blank conclusions. He refused to comprehend whatever was going on in front of his eyes, as warm tears clouded his vision, his lips quivering slightly and the middle of his chest squirming in a deep, unexplainable pain. The poor lad couldn't believe whatever he was seeing in front of him was true. He didn't want to believe.

Yet, he had no choice.

"Joongie! N-no! I-I...can...ex-explain..."

Hongjoong needed no explanations. Seeing his current boyfriend hovering over a fully naked woman in his apartment room, the room which he believed to be a sacred alter of all their past memories so dear to him, was more than enough for him. He couldn't believe it was Arson, of all people, who would do this to him. Duh! The past repeated itself.

Again.

And, once again, he could do nothing.

"J-Joongie...n-no..."

I must do it!

"I-It's okay A-Arson. I-It was n-nice to m-meet you..."

Enough! Just do it.

"Joong..."

"S-Stranger!"

Arson stared at him for a few seconds. The ambience went silent. Hongjoong was still standing at the doorstep, shaking, fists clenched, eyes squeezed shut. A few minutes passed after which, he slowly opened his eyes and looked around, blinking.

"Wh-Where am I?"

"J-Joong?"

The intervention of the voice broke his train of thoughts as Hongjoong immediately turned to the source and caught sight of the half naked man in front of him. He blinked a few more times to realize where he was or who was it standing in front of him. Do I know him? But, as soon as he heard a moan, his eyes travelled to the place underneath the guy on the bed. Seeing a naked woman sprawling, he was instantly embarrassed. He quickly picked up his bag and muttered,

"Oh my God! I a-am s-sorry. I-I didn't mean to stumble here. Good-Good night!"

And with that he turned around and ran.

Hongjoong ran till he was out of breath, footfalls echoing the neighborhoods he passed. He finally stopped, clutching his shirt and panting. The poor boy was madly gasping and groping for more breath, feeling a little dizzy and extremely weak. Sweat popped up on his forehead, as beads of perspiration glistened down his face and neck. Damn! That was a run.

Hongjoong wiped of his sweat with his shirt sleeve and gripped his knees and continued standing like that in an awkward pose in the middle of the street. It was a deserted one.

Wait a minute! Why did I run?

The boy suddenly felt absolutely clueless for a few minutes as to why on Earth did he run. Not getting an answer from his brain even after thinking it through, he stood up and slung his bag on his back in a proper manner.

And that was where he finally found himself in the middle of a never ending nowhere.

The blue haired teen looked around at the peculiar place he put himself in. Where the fuck is this now? Blinded by his sorrow and rage which, right now was no longer remembered by him, the boy ran in such a pace that he didn't even look where he was running to. His rash decision had only made him land up in an odd, deserted place which was completely dark and deserted. Not a single living object reached his vision, leave alone humans. Dense bushes clustered the sides of the road, tall trees creating dark canopies, and a narrow path ahead which led to somewhere the boy didn't know.

Hongjoong nervously clutched the strap of his bag and started taking little steps. Cold sweats started staining his frame and every sound in the ambience made his hair stand at the end.

"Ow! What a pretty creature."

"Isn't he just too pretty for tonight?"

Hongjoong's heart gave a terrible jolt upon hearing the unexpected voices. He quickly spun around and immediately wished he hadn't. Right in front of him were four burly, boisterous men glaring at him with lustful eyes. Under the wan moonlight, they looked hideous, like hungry carnivores waiting for their prey. They looked like the devil, terrible and cruel. Hongjoong shuddered.

"Don't run kitten, you're ours tonight."

The men stepped forward. Hongjoong took steps backward, fear engulfing his small form. His guts signalled him to flee, yet his legs didn't budge. Just like his bad luck was, he accidentally tripped on a stone and fell straight to the hard ground backwards on his butt. Hongjoong knew he could do nothing. He was absolutely helpless. He was too scared to look up again. Not knowing what to do next, he quickly flung his hands to his face, almost crying. The last thing he saw was the men approaching him.

They never came.

"Stay away from him!"
