I stood in shock. "Imprinting... I repeat in my mind. Sounded familiar, like i learned of it before. when i didn't respond, he added, "It's like.... everything changed. Finding Soulmates  if you will." "Is that why... you confessed? I ask.

Jacob nodded. "Only problem is... my friends..." I knew where he was going. I sigh. "I've heard this before." Jacob chuckled, before nodding. "But (Name), I didn't lie when i confessed. i do have feelings for you."

"wait, Jacob interrupted. "I've avoided you because my feelings for you were intense. ever since i imprinted, it's like-"

"Jake! His friends interrupt. I look over, his group comes closer. His hand goes in mine, protectively, or possessively, i couldn't really tell.  "I mean, i could go, I offer. "It's fine, Jacob said. "Besides, they've been eager to see you again"

"Oh I see, I joke. I found myself wondering, how would the Cullens think? I wonder if they even know. "So, you're the imprint, One of them, I think was Embry, joked. I chuckle, before nodding. "Mhm."

"He would not stop bringing you up since last time, His other friend, Jared, I was sure, laughed. Jacob rolls his eyes. "Oh? You said they were eager, I tease. His friends simply smirk. they seemed fine enough. well, funny, honestly. he had good friends.

being beside Jacob just made me feel more happy i was human, and not some vampire. no offense. i would rather grow old, than remain young forever, witness my friends and family die while i wouldn't ever. 

i know vampires, well, the cullens, were near death, but still. i doubt vampirism is super fun. no, i know vampirism isn't fun. "You should meet the others, Jacob said. "More? I joke. He nodded. "Okay, I grin.

We weren't official, but acted like we were. I didn't mind, I wasn't sure if i was ready to be official, but we'll see right? I had never been with someone before, so this would be new for me. We drive somewhere, when i hear waves, i feel much more calmer.

I smile. "Where are we?" "Emily's, He replied. I simply shrug, getting out beside him. Even though i didn't know if i was ready, i did wish deep down we were official. but, i knew i shouldn't rush into things.

I say near Jacob, I enter beside him. "Nice place, I admire. He nodded. "Also, I wouldn't stare." "Hm? I ask, before a woman comes in, i look up. She smiles, a scar on her face, I didn't stare, didn't want to be rude.

"You must be (Name), She smiles. "Emily Young." "Nice to meet you, I smile. She seemed so sweet. "Are there others? I tease. Jacob nods, and i hear people from behind.

"Whoa! Jacob, she's your imprint? One of them asks. I knew the others but there was one I didn't know. "Jared, Jacob groans.

"Hey, nice to meet you, I'm (name), I introduced.

"Nice meeting you too, He says, a slight smirk on his face. I didn't really think much of it.

I got home. "How was your day? Dad asks. I smile. "Honestly, very fun." "I'm glad, He replied."I like seeing you happy."

"i like seeing you happy too, dad."

I go in my room. I of course had some feeling some vampire would be in my room. I sigh, rolling my eyes. I was quite annoyed. Expecting Edward, I see, Alice? I blink in confusion. "You seem confused, She replied.

I nodded. "if you needed something, you could have simply messaged me." Alice smiles innocently, though, i saw right through her. "Would you have responded?" "I suppose through, I replied." Look, you should you leave-"

"You know why i came here, don't you?"

I chuckle. "Kind of obvious." Alice scoffs. "How's your new boyfriend?" "Hm? I say. She replied," the dog." "Okay, Just leave, I replied. "He is no dog. You shouldn't judge. You drink blood."

"His kind isn't good company, She reminds me."Besides, he messes wijh my visions. (Name), we really core for you. You should be around us more. so we could protect you." I roll my eyes, wijh venom in my voice i say, "Leave, Alice."

She nods, swiftly leaving. I was now pissed off. How could she say things like that? I knew now completely why Jacob didn't like them much. I hoped they would stop. Because, i think if they keep coming, i will snap.

"I heard voices, is everything okay honey? Dad asks, making me jump.  "Oh, um, I'm fine, I replied. "Okay, he replied. "let me know if you need knifing."

"i will."

I groaned. why did my life become so complicated? oh yeah, because i'm stupid. i shouldn't have become involved with fucking vampires. I closed my window, since i could only open my window. I left mine open stupidly. i usually forget.

i plop down on my bed, pondering on tomorrow. i slowly close my eyes, not even noticing i had fallen asleep.

Morning came and that meant school. Prom was coming up. Something I had been looking forward to. Wasn't too sure on who I'd go with. But I had an idea though.

I pulled up to school and parked by Bella. "(Name)! Bella smiles. "Hey Bella, I replied."How are you?" "Eh, the rain makes me kind of tired, She said.

"(Name)! Mike said, interrupting our conversation. My heart dropped. The way he was acting meant one thing.

He was asking me to Prom.

His friends seemed to be supporting him. "I'll leave you to be, Bella smiles, entering school but I noticed she gave him a look subtly.

Bella wasn't that type of person but maybe I didn't know her that well, actually I didn't honestly so who knows? I smile, holding back my feeling of dread. Maybe i was overthinking. "so uh, you know how prom is coming up, you have someone you're going with? i mean... um, would you like to go to prom with me? Mike asked.
