"stop crying!" seungcheol tells her
"i can't!" she wipes her eyes
"listen chaeyoung, you're going to be the best girlfriend to him ever ok? don't let anyone tell you otherwise or let them get involved in your relationship! you guys are together and no one and stop you—and you're crying again!" he hugs the crying girl
"i told you i can't! it's the seungcheol effect!" she hugs him back
"well i want you to stop so what could i do?"
"i don't know," she looks at him and her tears stop. "can i tell you something actually? it's kind of personal but i want to tell you."
he holds her hand "you can tell me. i promise it will just stay between us."
"you know how i joke about you being my dad and stuff? well i guess it's weird cause we're only a few years apart but i really thinking of you as a father figure, i really look up to you. i never had someone that i could look up too. my dad left as soon as he found out my mom was pregnant and i always thought that it was mom's that did everything. so you can imagine how confused i was when someone told me they had 'a dad'. i asked my mom about it and she said she would tell me when i'm older," she sighs
"but i obviously found out in school and i got bullied for not having a dad. i cried and told my mom so we moved her to korea. and she met my step dad here but i was nineteen when my mom got married and my step dad always worked so i had no one. but then i met you! i felt this special connection with you once i seen and talked to you. that's why i texted you again telling you that i missed you. i might seem annoying but it's just because i've never had someone, let alone thirteen guys, to look up to. i love you guys so much more than my words can say." she looks at him again and she sees a tear rolling down his cheek
she wipes off his tear "hey don't cry! i did it for you already."
"i'm not crying," he smiles at her. she hugs him and he hugs her back
"i love you seungcheol,"
"i love you chaeyoung,"
