A New Beginning

*Toms POV*

We'd just moved to a new small town in Tokyo. As I stand unboxing all my belongings from boxes, I start to reminisce about all the thing I had before. All my friends, and the life I had planned out, but now I have nothing.

"Tom!" My mom calls out as she's been trying to cheer me up ever since we got here.
I go down to the kitchen where she waits to see what she needed.
"Hey, I know you've been kind of down, but I thought I would give you and bill money to go down to the arcade." she says. "You know to keep your mind off things." She continues.
Bill is my twin brother who has stuck by me through every thing.
"I haven't finished unpacking yet." I reply coldly.
"Don't worry." She says. "I've got it all under control."

Although I just wanted to seem cold because she tore me away from the life I had, deep down I felt bad for my snappy remarks. With that, I just did as she did as she said and called bill down to get ready. I was only doing this for him because I know he's been wanting to get out, to explore, and to meet new people. Although we were twins, we were polar opposites. I could care less to meet new snobby people because I usually keep to myself either way. But bill, he couldn't help but be mesmerized by the simplest things and people just seem to migrate to him automatically.

Bill all dressed up and ready to go comes downstairs.
"Tom, I'm ready to go now!" He calls out as I grab my keys and we start heading out the door.
"Bye boys!" My mom yells out but we are already gone. Bill was pretty ecstatic to be out and about. Seeing him so happy put a smile on my face.
