A New Beginning

Encounter

Me and bill had just arrived at the arcade as we see a bunch of kids, who we guessed go to our school, enter before us. We hadn't started school yet, so I thought that maybe I could help bill make friends with those kids so he won't be lonely on the first day. That thought quickly left my head as one of the guys from the group turns around to look at us and laughs, while pointing us out to his friends. Everyone else simultaneously began laughing with him, besides this one girl.

She was kinda short, blonde, and seemed pretty shy and embarrassed being around them. We made eye contact for what felt like hours but then the laughter got louder and I snapped out of my trance. Remembering what was going on, I could feel bills sadness and discomfort. I pulled him to the other token machine to get him away from the hurtful words the group was letting out. Drowning them out I finally put the money in the machine and received the tokens.

Bill still seem a bit down about what happened so I tried lightening the mood.
"I bet I'll beat you at Final Fight." I said. It was a fighting game we would always play back home.
"Oh you think you will." he snapped with laughter, pushing me while racing to get first pick on characters. While Bill was running quick I was almost catching up when one of the guys from earlier came out of no where pushing Bill on the ground. Bill was tall with a very feminine build and I was slightly shorter with a more masculine build. I stopped in my tracks as I yelled " Oh my god bill, are you alright." Completely running past the guy who did it as he laughed in our face.

Although bill was small, I have always taught him to fight back. As I picked him back up to his feet, we stand face to face to two guys from the group. Who knows where the rest were.
"WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DO THAT FOR!" I yelled inches away from the guy who tripped bill.
"Problem?" He said with a smirk. My blood was now boiling. I wanted to punch that smirk off his face so bad but that meant bill would have to fight also, and I didn't want that.

Suddenly I heard a hard punch and my head turned to bill so quick. The guy that was in front of bill, was now on the floor completely unconscious. When the other noticed what happened he tried to go for bill but something in me snapped. I pushed him down and got on top of him punching him nonstop, completely taking all the anger I had from the last few days, out on his face.

"STOPP OH MY GOSH PLEASE STOP!" I heard a mystery girl plead behind me. I got up off the guy all bloody knuckled, turning around only to see the little shy blonde girl running towards us panicked.
