Me and bill completely disregarded the eager group that had been missing the two guys from the arcade. We walked over to a random empty table to chill and talk to each other. We'd hadn't met anyone yet but that wasn't a problem for me.

"Dude they are staring holes into us." Bill said with a chuckle.

I turned around in my seat to give them a deadly stare until I saw the girl again. The girl from the arcade. Short, blonde, and green eyed. I'd caught her gaze back at me but something was different. She always seemed shy, but this time she looked scared and overwhelmed. She had a hoodie over her long beautiful blonde curly locks, almost completely covering her face. She turned away and as did I to look back at bill.

"Hey, you remember the girl from the arcade." I said. "The blonde that helped us out." I continued.
"Oh yeah what about her." Bill replied. Turning to look over at her.
"She seems different, like if the life was sucked out of her." I said with concern in my face.
"Oh don't tell me you have fallen for her." He said with a grin on his face.
"Of course not, it's just weird to me." I snapped completely denying the accusation.

Me? Fall for a girl? Never. Then again it's like I couldn't get her off my mind. Her gaze, her hair, her eyes. They always seem to get me stuck in a trance that I can't get out of. When I seen the way she looked today, all overwhelmed, I felt the need to check in on her. Like a thank you for having our back the other day.

I saw her exiting the cafeteria alone, maybe to the restroom. I saw my chance and grabbed bill, he was confused but we sped out of there within seconds. I couldn't lose eyes on her, I needed to know what was wrong. We caught up to her and pulled her around the corner to an empty hallway.

"HEY!" She yelled out trying to fight out of my arms.
"Hey, hey, hey, don't worry it's just me." I said trying to calm her. She caught a sight of my face and calmed down.
"You scared the shit out of me, you could have just called out my name." She said with an overwhelming sigh.
"I'd never got it. By the way what is it." I said with a chuckle.
"Amelia, Amy for short." She said with a smile spreading across her face.
"Nice. I'm Tom and if you haven't noticed, that's my twin brother bill." I said amused.

I couldn't help but stare.

"Oh okay, well Is there something you needed?" She said confused at the awkward silence.
"Oh yeah I was just wondering if you were okay, you seemed kinda down earlier." I said while pointing to the hoodie.
"Promise not to tell anyone about this." She said contemplating showing me.
"About what?" I replied.

The little smile she had turned into a frown as she removed her hood from her head. She revealed bruises on her neck and the side of her face that were covered by the hoodie.

"Oh my gosh!" Bill finally spoke.
"Who did this to you, why?" I demanded.
"Take a wild guess." She said tears coming down her eyes now. "I'd covered for you guys and told the others that it wasn't you guys who beat in the faces of the boys from the arcade." She said now sobbing.

For some reason I started feeling so much anger. Like I was about to explode, but I calmed myself at the sound of her sorrows. It truly pained me, and I didn't know why.

"So when the guys woke up, they'd heard about the story I'd told the others and told them the real story. They beat me completely to the ground." She said. "They called me a trader, a whore, and all sorts of other things and I felt so powerless." She said.

I didn't know what to do, I wanted to storm right back to the cafeteria and kill the rest of the guys with my bare hands. But on the other hand I just wanted to comfort her at the moment. I pulled her into a hug patting her back as she cried in my arms. Bill put his hand on her shoulder.

"AMELIA!" A familiar voice shouted.
Startled, Amelia pulled away from the hug turning quickly to the voice that spoke.
