Writing a book is harder than I thought and more rewarding than I could have ever imagined. None of this would've been possible without Mr. Bont, my teacher who first brought up the idea of writing a book. Although it was less an idea, and more an assignment worth a significant percentage of my grade, the process of writing was still a valuable journey that I am very glad to Mr. Bont for putting me through it. Your inspiring guidance, advice, and feedback provided me with a more creative mind that allowed me to perfect my story, plot, and characters. Your constant belief in me to be able to write this story on time and checking in with me every week to overcome any hurdles and uncertainties in the writing process was very valuable. Thank you for guiding me throughout this journey. I am very grateful to you, sir.
To my ever-supportive dad, thank you for making sure I reached my scheduled goals throughout this entire process. Although it was strict, it helped me persevere through the writing blocks to reach my daily short-term goal, and surprisingly, sometimes even exceed that goal. Your belief in me during the toughest times in this process has been a great source of strength for me, and with your support on countless nights, I've been able to get back on my feet from slumps and continue to write my story, even with doubts sometimes of whether or not I should change something. I'm very glad I didn't because it flows a lot better, and without your love and support, this book would be a distant dream. Thank you for being my training wheels through this unprecedented territory.
Of course, an incredible thanks to my friends and family, for helping me fix the plot holes, perfect a good storyline, and create interesting characters to make it more appealing to the reader. As my first readers, I am very thankful for their feedback, however critical, improved my story drastically, and their honest reviews were invaluable. You have been my sounding board, helping me mend plot holes and polish the rough edges of my characters. Your enthusiasm for my rough edit to see every new chapter motivated me to stay on task and be productive to give my early readers the preview they desired. Thank you for investing your time and energy in this passion project of mine.
Finally, thank you. Yes, the person reading this book, who has reached its end. I hope I provided you with a sufficient conclusion, and I hope this was an enjoyable read for you. Your support in my content is boundlessly appreciated and I hope you return to read some of my other work when I release them. Until then, this book is not a destination that I have reached, it was a journey, accompanied by amazing people who supported and encouraged me throughout this process. Their belief in me kept me optimistic and I am very proud to say I finished on schedule. No, we finished on schedule.
