Ezekiel escaped the detectives and left the cave, he avoided the other detectives, investigators and the rangers outside and is running back towards their headquarters to Pater Domini nostri to deliver the news about the betrayal of Marcus,Amelia and some other "followers" .Marcus and Amelia who were tasked before to find Elijah got persuaded by the detectives to help them. David Hartman (the intruder) was helping at the site but was nowhere to be seen as soon the detectives were there. He runs and climbs 3 miles in the forest and catches his breath, he still has 4 miles to cover. He needs to get out of this forest immediately.
Ezekiel's heart races as he sprints through the dense forest, his breath coming in ragged gasps. The weight of betrayal and the knowledge that his plans have been thwarted fuel his determination to reach his headquarters and confront Pater Domini nostri. The path ahead is treacherous, with uneven terrain and thick undergrowth, but Ezekiel pushes forward, his mind racing with thoughts of what he needs to do next.
As he continues to run, Ezekiel's thoughts turn to Marcus and Amelia, the two who had been by his side and now had turned against him. He can't shake the feeling of betrayal that courses through him, the bitterness of trust broken and loyalty abandoned. He wonders how he could have been so blind to their true intentions.
The forest seems to close in around him, the trees casting long shadows that dance in the fading light. Every rustle of leaves, every snapping twig makes him jump, his senses heightened by the knowledge that he's being pursued. He can't afford to slow down or let his guard down, not now.
With each step, his mind races, forming plans and strategies. He knows he can't face Pater Domini nostri empty-handed. He needs evidence, he needs to prove his loyalty and his worth. He needs to make sure that his position is secure, that his authority is unquestioned.
As he runs, the forest seems to stretch on endlessly. The sounds of the night fill the air - the chirping of insects, the hooting of owls, the rustling of small creatures in the underbrush. The forest, once a place of solace and power, now feels like a prison, a labyrinth of uncertainty and danger.
Ezekiel's breath grows heavier, his legs ache, but he pushes himself harder. He can't stop, he won't stop until he reaches his destination. He knows that his next move could determine the fate of his cult, his legacy, and his very life.
With each passing mile, the weight of his failures and the burden of his actions bear down on him. The forest becomes a metaphor for his inner turmoil - a dark, tangled place that mirrors the depths of his own mind. And yet, amidst the darkness, a spark of determination glows within him.
As Ezekiel continues to run, driven by desperation and a desire to reclaim his power, the night closes in around him. The forest becomes an intricate maze, a challenge he must overcome to secure his place in the world he has created. And so, he runs, driven by fear, ambition, and the knowledge that his fate hangs in the balance.
Ezekiel runs, climbs and jumps through the mountains and thick forest, he runs and runs as his own life was depended on it. He can't stop, he must go on, even if his legs were hurting and aching like crazy, he can not stop, never.
His determination and fear fuelling him to go on. The determination to not get caught and get revenge on the traitors and the fear of what might happen if he stays any longer in this twisted forest.
These two were the reasons why he was pushing himself through this limits.
Ezekiel's every step is a battle against exhaustion, his muscles burning with each movement. His heart pounds in his chest, matching the rhythm of his frantic breaths. The forest seems to become a blur as he dashes through it, his mind consumed by a singular focus: escape.
