The question

I was woken up by the sound of "awes" and pictured being taken. I open my eyes to see josh and JJ with their phones out.

Y/N: What are you guys doing? (Still half asleep)

JJ: We came to get you up for the sidemen video and we saw you two love birds and couldn't resist.

Y/N: we aren't love birds. (I say that with a sadness to my tone) anyways how long do we have to get ready?

Josh: 30 minutes at the most. Wake lover boy up too.

Y/N: shut up.

Josh and JJ leave the room. I turn to wake Simon up and just get lost looking at him. Admiring every detail of his face. A boy like that would never fall for me. I snap myself out of my Simon daydream and wake him up.

Y/N: Si, we have 30 mins to get ready for the sidemen video. Get up!

Simon: It'll take me 5 minutes to get ready.

Y/N: Fine I guess I'll just start then. I grab my makeup bag and mirror and sit on the bed. I just do my eyebrows and put mascara on. I leave my hair out and natural. Just brushing through it. I then get Simon to get up and get changed while I do. I put my black ripped jeans on with my cropped sidemen hoodie on and just put on a pair of socks. I sprayed myself with deodorant and perfume. Brushed my teeth and then headed downstairs.

I see Simon standing at the bottom of the stairs whispering to josh. Josh looks out me nervously and tries to tell Simon. But before he could I jump on Simon's back. He jumps and I laugh.

Simon: Y/N what are you doing? (This doesn't sound like Simon. He's always happy when I'm around. He sounds like he's hiding something. I jump down and look at him with confusion)

Y/N: what's wrong?

Simon: I was having a private conversation. (A little angry)

I look at josh and then back at Simon who looks like he regrets what just happened. I see JJ leaving the kitchen.

Y/N: JJ wait for me.

I run over to JJ and walk outside to the garden. I glance over my shoulder at Simon. He looks like he's mad at himself. What is going on?

Y/N: Simons being so weird today. What's up with him?

JJ: I don't know. He seemed okay with me.

Y/N:So it's just with me? What did I do? (I look at JJ hurt)

JJ: He's probably just having a bad day.

I nod as we walk over to vik, Tobi and Ethan setting up the ping pong table.

Y/N: What you guys talking about?

Ethan: Stephen just text saying that XOs going out tonight and asked if we wanted to go?

Y/N: Yeah why not. Are we all going?

Ethan: I think so I haven't asked Simon and josh yet.

Vik: Here they are now.

POV Simon:

Simon: Josh I don't know what to do anymore. It's driving me crazy that I can't be with her. The more time I spend with her the more I fall for her. I can't tell her how I feel because what if she doesn't feel the same. Sometimes I think she might. Sometimes I think she might actually like me we have these short moments but then I think why would she? I need to apologise. I didn't mean to snap at her. I just don't want her to find out and distance herself from me.

Josh: Let's just go and film the video and you can apologise for her. Simon, she needs to hear this them moments mean something. You both need to realise that. (I fake a smile and head outside with josh behind me)
