What the hell just happened?
Jisoo is in the van with Rosie and Jennie heading back to the apartment. Rosie is a complete mess, pressed up in Jennie's lap, sobbing uncontrollably.
Jennie isn't faring much better. Tears are streaming down her cute mandu cheeks and Jisoo wants to punch something, not quite someone, really hard.
Instead she reaches over and rubs Jennie's tears away with the back of her hand. She moves herself as close as possible to the two younger girls.
She presses herself into Rosie's back and whispers sweet terms of endearment to her, to both of them.
Jennie attempts an awkward fake smile that Jisoo appreciates, but isn't fooled by.
Jisoo tries to convince them, and herself really, that Lisa didn't mean any of what she said and that she is just overtired and overstressed and would come around and apologize for being such an ass.
As much as she is trying to convince them, she isn't really sure she has convinced herself.
She had never seen Lisa that vicious or lost, and she had thought she had seen her at her worst.
This was far beyond that.
She got stuck in her head trying to think, to find a moment that she missed. A turning point that had been the catalyst for this.
She is interrupted from her thoughts by Jennie slipping her free arm around and rubbing Jisoo's back.
"Will everything be okay Jisoonni?"
Jisoo wants to respond with a quick yes, but honestly, she has no idea. "It's okay Jendeukie, we will be okay."
But does that we include Lisa any longer? She isn't sure. Had everything ended in that moment?
By the time they reach the apartment, Rosie has fallen asleep in Jennie's arms. Not wanting to disturb her, Jisoo picks her up bridal style and carries her into the building.
Rosie stirs and reaches out for Jennie's hand. Jennie latches on quickly, none of the girls caring at that moment if any of this was being caught on camera or would be posted later.
Their current worries and concerns are only for each other.
They don't have the energy or desire to pretend they don't care for each other as much as they do anymore.
