CHAPTER ONE

« Taylor what are you doing ? »

splashes of blood were all over my face . The war was finally over , at least that's what I thought .

OCTOBER 6TH , 2022
I was hidden in the trees pointing my sniper to the house where Tony was in , I've been tracking these idiots for a while , they were in Seattle , it's been almost a year since they took Tony , I still don't know why but It didn't matter I was gonna save him anyways.
« Let's see who was right , im soon gonna come back to Montania with Tony and I will prove to everyone that he didn't die » I said to myself, I was sick of hearing people feeling sorry for me , when I use to go out I often heard "it's the girl who lost her dad it must be hard for her" now that I know he is alive I will do whatever I can to save him .
I pointed to a guy who was in the balcony , probably a guard , I could see the room through my sniper , Tony wasn't there , there was a lot of guard on the first floor, all armed , maybe he was there , I killed the two man who were on the first floor balcony , the rest will hear the noise , they come out and boom ! I kill them , they won't even notice Im here . Minutes later three other people were here I killed the first and the second one, i was about to shoot at the third one when I realised I was out of munitions. « Shit shit shit shit » none of the one I had were compatible for the gun . I was trying to figure out what to do when suddenly I felt something goes through my skin , fuck They found me , I fell from the tree to the ground and hit my head against a rock .
When I woke up it was dark out , I was in my room , someone found me and saved me . I got up from my bed and went downstairs, it still feels weird to not see him playing guitar on the couch , Marine was sitting there with Manny .
« Hey » I said.
« Oh my god tay you finally woke up, thinks god Manny found you » Marine said to me while giving me a hug
« What the hell has gotten into you Taylor? » Ugh I hated when he acted like my dad , Manny and Marine were our neighbours , they use to spend a lot of time with us , and since Tony disappeared they been trying to manage my life.
« you could have died , why the hell did you went to Seattle »
« I was looking for Tony »
« Taylor Tony died »
« NO HE DID NOT BUT HE WILL IF I SIT HERE AND DON'T ANYTHING ! »
« Tay , darling I know it's hard for you but Tony really did died the men you were tracking weren't those who killed him , you tracked the wrong persons »
« You guys should stop acting like my parents and don't ever try to manage my life »
They didn't say anything they looked at me and just left . « There is food in the fridge if you want »
« Ok »
I brought my map and sat on the couch watching it over and over again, where he could be , I was wrong about Seattle and California too , I knew it was going to be hard since the civil wars started many gangs formed , he could be anywhere with any of them .
I didn't leave the house for three days , thinking about plans , what should I do , how to find him , I was going insane.
Someone knocked at the door, I told them to come in , it was Tobey a friend of mine.
« Hey »
« Oh hi »
«I was passing by and thought it would be good to come and say hi » he said smiling at me « I brought Cookies, it was the three last , you can have them »
« Thanks Tobey put them on the counter I will eat them later » I was so focused on my notes, I didn't have time to chat with him .
He looked over to the cups of coffee and said  « Did you sleep? »
« No , but it doesn't matter I have to find him »
He came over me and told me  « Get up »
« What? »
« I said get up » I obeyed to his saying, we went to my room .
« You need to get some sleep I will carry on what you were doing imma help meanwhile get some sleep you really need it »
« No i... »
« I said I will help » He was right I needed to sleep At least a little bit.
I woke up five hours later, he was sitting on the couch contemplating the maps and the notes I wrote , he looked so focused , I picked a cookie and bit into it , it was a treat . I sat next to him and listened to everything he was saying, he really helped , he found everything.
« look , he could be here , we can go tomorrow if you want, I even know where we can stay , places if we need munitions , but there is a problem »
« What is it ? »
« It's Scafs's gang »
«We're going, it doesn't really matter , we will be careful that's it»

TWO WEEKS LATER

After hours of searching, Tobey and I  found the house where Tony was
« If someone sees us , we're dead so be careful » we entered from the back and went directly to the basement. It was a dark hallway with many doors, no lights no windows nothing, it smells like blood and shit .
« Imma search in the right doors
go look at the left ones » I whispered to Tobey.
I opened door by door , all of them were empty or had bones , these people were animals.
« Tay » Tobey called me, I went to him and showed me stairs that leads to a dark hole. I went down first and Tobey followed me , I took my gun and charged it just incase . Again , it was another hallway with a lot of rooms .
« This house doesn't want to end or what the hell ».
We carried on  our searching until someone faced us .
« Hey stop ! » He said . He started to shoot at us as we we ran all the hallway and hided in one of the room .
« Fuck they found us »suddenly someone caught Tobey by the neck . I pointed my flashlight to the unknown men and my blood dried up, it was Tony
He realised who we were before we did who was he « Taylor ? »he said with his confusion voice. I threw myself at him « I knew that I would find you , I always knew »
« Guys ! Im sorry for interrupting your moment but we have to go like right now » I gave my second gun to Tony and we all left the room , they were maybe twenty even more people , suddenly someone shoot

« Tony fucking wake up ! Tony come on you can do this , please fucking wake up Tony it's not time sleep » I heard someone screaming she's here « Okay...I need you to listen carefully...Tony wake up ! These guys are coming for you...Don't fucking sleep I know it's hurting you and you're losing too much blood but...keep this gun with you im gonna kill this mother fucker incase someone came here I need you to kill em okay? Don't fucking sleep and don't move » I didn't want to leave him here but I had to . I opened the door « COME HERE YOU FUCKING BASTARD!!!! » I had to kill each one of them , Tobey was helping at the end of the hallway and I was trying to do my best to protect Tony , I finally found him , I knew he didn't die .
When everyone was killed I called Tobey and ran to Tony he was still there and didn't move . « Tobey help me carrying him to the car we have to move now...Tobey ? » He wasn't there , he was just here minute ago «Tobey ? »I called out his name but no answer, I came back to Tony to see if he was in the room but he wasn't , No sign of him , I searched in each room .
After minutes of searching, I found him on the ground. « Oh my god !! Tobey ! Im so sorry oh my god » he was unconscious « Tobey wake up » suddenly someone punched me in the head and I saw everything black.
I found myself on a new room , the window and the door were locked.
«Open this fucking door !! » I heard Tobey screaming.
« Tobey ? »
« Tay you woke up » he came to me and hugged and I accepted it, I even liked it.
« We have to get out from here »
« We can't »
« What do you mean? »
« There is security guard everywhere »
« So what now you want us to give up ? »
« I didn't say that we have to think smarter we don't have anything with us and they are armed , all of them » Suddenly the door opened, it was a big guy with big muscles. « Take the girl » one of the guard came to me and took me from my hand « let go off me you bastard » .
They took me again to a new room , Tony was there , they left me there , I immediately went to Tony . The big guy came up to us.
« Carlos leave her alone she has nothing to do with this »
« Tony Niller , HAHA you thought this was gonna be as easy as that , Im gonna make you regret everything you have done and she , is going to watch you suffer like an animal ».He took a baseball bat and started to hit Tony .
« NOOOOO ! STOP!! STOP YOU FUCKING BASTARD !!! STOPPP !!! » I jumped on him and tried to hit him but he was powerful than me , I fell of the ground. « TONY !!!PLEASE FUCKING WAKE UP YOU CANNOT GIVE UP !STOP...PLEASE STOP...PLEASE DON'T DO THAT PLEASE LET HIM GO » my voice cracked as I was begging him to stop , he finally stopped and left the room.
« Tony please don't let me down...please wake up I still need you »
« Im so sorry kiddo »
« No you can't leave me like this , get up we have to go please wake up » I was crying with all my soul , I wasn't ready to live without him yet « please... »
« Kill her » I heard Carlos saying.
« YOU GONNA PAY FOR THIS !!!! IM GONNA KILL EACH ONE OF YOU !!!! YOU GONNA SUFFER !!! GO TO HELL CARLOS »
The guard was going to grab me until someone shotted at him , it was Tobey , he entered the room « oh shit... »he sat next to me and Tony.
« Get up Tony we have to go home , it's time to go home please get up , I promise I will clean my room more often and you can choose whatever movie you want I eventually will try to eat more vegetables as you always told me to , just get up »
He turned his head to Tobey and said « Take care of her kid...don't ever let her down... »
The room went in silent and Tony let go out of my hand , I knew that he's gone . I looked over Tobey and found myself crying on his arms
« It's my fault...I should ha... »
« Tay it's none of your fault, you did what was right don't ever blame yourself okay ? »
