“Hello there, pal! Howzitgoing?”

“███. . . ! Nice to see you again, dear friend.”

“I just came to visit you for a while and make sure you’re doing well with your creations. I have seen you do something here. Was it a RESET? You don’t seem very motivated.”

“No. I did something else. . . I think I’m a bit of a perfectionist. . . I-I am sorry, it is just. . . I want to use all the potential of my power for something I was thinking about before-”

“Which Power?”

XGaster generated the overwrite button in front of Ink, who was standing there using Broomie as a support to rest his arms. He looked very interested in this, noticing that it was something like no other! It was one of a kind! How exciting!

“Overwrite. The power to completely change anything. The reality itself of an alternate universe,” XGaster explained with a concentrated yet stern look on his face. ‘T-That is how it will work with my future experiment. This is just like a game I want to explore,” XGaster continued explaining to Ink, who looked very interested in what his friend had to say.

Far yet not too far from XGaster and Ink were the human children. [Name] furiously wiped away their tears as they still held onto Asriel’s heart locket, still feeling terribly awful for what happened a few mere minutes ago. Chara stood by next to them, also feeling the same emotions that their older sibling currently felt. He looked behind them to see XGaster explaining Ink about this newfound power.

He was unsure if he liked it or not.

“Changing everything?” Ink questioned him, wondering if this was alright or not. What about the truce?

  What truce?

  Forget about the truce.

“I don’t know, I don’t think that’s okay. . .” Ink finished, lowering his skull to look at the lavender colored grass. He noticed a blue forget-me-not sprout from the ground, growing slightly amazed that another color besides purple managed to live in this AU.

Back with the human children, Frisk popped up from the ground, holding a bouquet of golden flowers. He turned to see his siblings, handing Chara part of his bouquet of golden flowers. Chara’s eyes widened at this sudden action, tensing his shoulders up before he realized that Frisk only wanted him to feel better. Frisk gave him a warm smile before he reached down to pluck out some blue forget-me-nots for his older sibling, who was still feeling down. Frisk stood back up to hand [Name] the small bouquet of forget-me-nots, [Name] flinching at his sudden appearance. Their eyes softened at this kind act, happily taking the forget-me-nots from Frisk.

“It won’t break the truce you made with that person. I. . . want to find the best for them. Please, I need you to understand,” XGaster practically begged Ink to understand. He truly had good intentions. He didn’t want to interfere with whatever Ink had with a certain glitched being. “I have always dreamed about creating something like this and. . . thanks to you, I got the perseverance I need.”

Both Chara and [Name] smelt the flowers, amazed by how wonderful the flowers here smelled like. It smelt something like heaven.

“I am sure both of us will have fun with it. We can play anytime, anywhere.” XGaster finished, hoping that Ink would understand.

“It will be the best thing you have ever seen.”
