Chapter 8

We get to Johnnys room and boy did he not look any better. " hey Johnny its me Y/n" I said going to his side grabbing his hand. "H-hey bean" he said still in pain. I started to tear up just at the sight of him in pain makes me feel so guilty. Maybe if I wasn't stupid and ran in that church. But think of it this was 8 kids or the love of your life. DAMN IT I should of choose Johnny. "I love you so much Johnny" I said still holding his hand. " I-I lo-love you m-more" he said grabbing my hand a little tighter and I can tell he's really trying. "Me and pony will go to the gift shop and see if we can find gone with the wind" two bit said dragging pony boy out. "Hey Johnny ima try something" I said. I lay on the floor my feet pointing away from Johnny and slid under so I can see his beautiful face. "Hey Johnny" I said. "Y-you look s- so beautiful" he said trying to smile it came out as a little smirk. "And you're still handsome" I said. "Y-yeah right" he said. "No I mean it I've always thought you looked handsome you could look your worst and I would still think you're hot"I said smiling him doing the same. I lift my head up a little bit and try to give him a kiss which to my surprise our lips connect. "I-I missed t-that" he said. I go up to get another one when someone enters the room. "Johnny your mother wants to see you" his nurse says. "W-WELL I D-DONT WANT T-TO S-SEE H-HER" he said as two-but and ponyboy enter the room. I sit up to where I'm no longer under Johnny and I'm watching what's happening. "Johnny please" I hear a women plead. "N-NO G-GET H-HER OUT O-OF-" he tries to say but passes out. "Johnny....JOHNNY HELP HIM DO SOMETHING" I yell at the nurse as people once again flood the room pushing us out as pony starts to cry and two bit rubs his arm conferring him. We are out of the room when I see a young women which I'm guessing is his mom. I look and sees crying in her hands.

"No you can't cry over him" I say loud enough for the people around to hear. "Excuse me" she said looking at me mine and her face red and puffy. "You can't cry over him" I said walking closer to her. "What do you mean that's my son" she said. "He wasn't your son when he needed you, he wasn't your son when he went missing, HE WASNT YOUR SON WHEN YOU AND HES DAD WERE ABUSING HIM, HES NOT YOUR SON YOU MAY HAVE BIRTHED HIM BUT YOU DIDNT TAKE CARE OF HIM, YOU WERNT THERE WHEN HE GOT HURT, YOU WERNT THERE WHEN HE FUCKING NEEDED YOU, YOU KNOW WHO WAS ME, WHO HELPED HIM AFTER GETTING HURT BY HIS PARENTS ME, WHO CARES DEEPLY FOR HIM ME, WHO LOVES HIM WITH HER WHOLE FUCKING HEART DING DING FUCKING DING ME" I said screaming in her face catching everyone's attention. I start to push her shoulders until I fully push her onto the ground. I was about to punch her until two bit and pony boy grabbed me and pulled me back. I lean back into them and start to sob as they hold onto me tighter. "How about we go and check on dally and then leave we can come back after the fight" two bit says to me loud enough for only me and pony to hear. "Yeah let's go I don't want to see this piece of shit anymore" I said looking right into her eyes. "I didn't do anything to you"she said she's not crying anymore. "No you haven't but you've done horrible things to Johnny in there and you should be ashamed to even show your face in here you did one good thing in your life and that was bring Johnny into this world but if you haven't noticed he doing pretty great without you" I said starting to walk away while flipping her off.

We get to dallys room and not to my surprise he's shirtless and trying to take out his IV needle. "They said I can leave so ima leave when I wanna leave man"he said point at us three. "We came in here to check up on you and looks like you're doing pretty great" ponyboy said tossing dally a shirt and standing next to him. "Yeah I'm fine man how's Johnny" he asked as two bit looks at me and grabs my shoulders. "Well bean here told his bitch mother off and well he's not getting much better dal we can visit after to fight tonight" two bit says. "Oh shit I heard about that what time and where" Dally asks lighting a cigarette which I smack out of his mouth which he puts another one in which I do the same this. "STOP" I said slapping it out of his mouth which he just laughs and does it again. I give up. "10:00 at the lot" two bit answers. "Which we should probably get going" two bit says shoving me and pony out the room.

We are sitting at a bus stop waiting for the bus. "Hey bean um maybe you sit this fight out"pony boy said. "What hell no I'm doing this for Johnny and to get things how they were before" I said before looking straight ahead. "I know but I don't know if you're in the right mental health" pony boy says again. "Are you fucking serious not in the right mental health I need to do this pony" I said angry standing up. "No I think he's right you need to sit this out Y/n" two- but says. "Ugh fine but you better get me so I can go see Johnny" I said. "Thank you and yeah we'll get you" pony boy says hugging me as the bus arrives.
