It has been three days, three days after I moved to the school hostel. I wasn't ready for the life I met, I had never left home and now this freedom felt cool. However, my fear had increased, I was scared that this freedom could destroy me. I don't know why but I didn't trust myself one single bit, like if I could do what I did when I was staying with my parents how much now that I am no longer with them?

"Hadassah!" a voice jolted me back to reality.

"Raila, what?"

"I have been talking to you but you did not answer, instead you were staring into space like a crazy person."

Raila was my roommate, the only one I had met. She was a 300-level Engineering student, a Muslim, and quite nice.

"I am fine, just tired."

"You are missing home already abi?"

"Maybe, but when I am going to meet our other roommate?"

"Oh you mean Sophie, that one if you meet her then it will be by chance. She never really stays here, she is one of CTK's biggest and baddest girls."

"Okay."

"Just make sure to never cross her path. She could be very mean but do what she asks then you have no problem with her."

"Wow."

"She is even better than Myra."

"Who is that?"

The door opened and a very beautiful girl sauntered in. She wore a body-hugging short blue gown, she had black shades on, and stiletto heels (Like who wore stilettos in school? ). Her light skin shone and her face was creased into a frown.

"Why do I have the feeling that you were talking about me?" She said.

"Hey, Sophie."

"Who is this?" She ignored Raila and pointed at me.

"My name is Hadassah." I gave my reply in a heartbeat.

"Hmm, I can see that I have an SU as my roommate." She smiled.

I was lost, I did not know what she meant by that. How was I an SU?

"I am a Christian, not an SU."

"Wow, feisty. I think I like you." She stretched her hand for a handshake. "I believe you know my name already but I believe that we are going to be best of friends."
