Birthday Dreams | Taegyu

Months and weeks went by. The day before Beomgyu's birthday had come around once more. But tomorrow is his 17th birthday.

He had lost track of the boy with the red hair, and he never bothered to try and dream about him again.

As usual, when he returned from his college classes, he was worn out.

At 7 PM, all students at his college are usually dismissed. So it seems reasonable that Beomgyu is exhausted.

After finishing his extremely difficult homework, he prepared to go to sleep.

He made himself comfortable in his bed before drifting off to a deep slumber ( ;) ).

When he opened his eyes, he wasn't in his room he was on a cloud. Specifically, a purple one.

He searched the area and discovered another black ghost, like the one from his dream the previous year.

He blinked and the ghost suddenly... doubled.

He rubbed his eyes to make sure everything was real. He wasn't sure if he was dreaming or not. Everything seemed so realistic.

The two black ghosts drew nearer and nearer. He simply stood there, frozen. Not knowing what to do.

Suddenly, the red-haired boy showed up again, running with the same book that had sucked the ghost from his previous dream a year ago.

Beomgyu saw the red-haired boy again, and he froze in disbelief.

Once more, the red-haired boy was successful in capturing the spirits in his book.

In a similar manner to Beomgyu's previous dream a year ago, Taehyun grinned at Beomgyu.

Beomgyu spoke up.

He stuttered, "T-taehyun...?"

"Hello, Beomgyu! It's nice to see you again." Taehyun replied.

"What?. Why'd you dissapea-" Taehyun suddenly cut him off.

"Do you wanna visit my hide out, if you want?"

His dream right now is going exactly like the dream he had last year.

He was saved by Taehyun, who then grinned at him before saying "hello" and suggesting that they meet at one of his hiding locations.

Despite his extreme confusion, he nodded in agreement to go with Taehyun, again.

Then Taehyun grasped Beomgyu's hand, making him a little flustered. (hmmm..?)

Then, Taehyun sprinted off with Beomgyu to an unidentified location, once again.

"Taehyun?" asked Beomgyu.

"Yes, Beomgyu?" Taehyun answered.

Beomgyu stared at Taehyun and said, "Why did you just vanish the last time we met..?"

Taehyun again interrupted, "We're here!"

Beomgyu became concerned as Taehyun repeatedly sidestepped his question. He was unable to figure out the reason.

Taehyun yelled, "Beomgyu!!? you there?" Beomgyu was startled out of his thoughts and forced to return to reality.

Beomgyu shaked his head to calm down all the thoughts he was having.

"Huh? yes?"

Since Taehyun is clearly not going to respond in any way, he made the decision to end with the questions.

The "hide out" of Taehyun was at a little cloud. It appeared deserted and no one was around. Perhaps that explains why it is Taehyun's hideout.

Taehyun motioned for Beomgyu to join him as he entered a small warehouse. Of course, Beomgyu followed him in.

Purple vines covered the floor and the walls of the inside. yet not enough to completely fill the warehouse.

Why was everything purple..?

A little table in the center held numerous books and tiny containers filled with.... glitter? in it.

Taehyun sat at a chair next to the table as Beomgyu peered around Taehyun's hideout.

Taehyun smiled a little and said, "Hey, Beomgyu?"

"Hm?"

"Happy Birthday."  Taehyun said with a huge smile plastered on his face.

There. That’s what made Beomgyu really confused and frustrated.

How in the world did Taehyun know that it was his birthday?

Soon after, Taehyun vanished along with the entire cloud that carried the warehouse, making Beomgyu sink and get pulled into the darkness once again.

Why on earth does he continue to disappear  right after he greeted Beomgyu?..

Beomgyu suddenly woke up, with a headache. He looked around, it was still night.

He picked up his phone and looked at the time.

12:01 AM.

It was now 13th of March. And Beomgyu was now 17. He remembered half his dream, and he finally knows the boy's name now.

Taehyun.

He woke up right after Taehyun had greeted him with a 'happy birthday.' He knows this wasn't just a dream now.

This was maybe a .. sign? He doesn't know from who.. or what.. but he was certain this was NOT simply just a dream.

He was still pretty sleepy so he layed down again, and quickly fell asleep.

but... he didn't dream of Taehyun again.

Atleast, for now. ;)
