Taehyun had been absent from Beomgyu's dreams for the past two years, which concerned Beomgyu deeply. He patiently awaited the day before his birthday, but all he could dream about was a simple black background or, more simply, not Taehyun.
He's now twenty.
College was almost over for him. He rented a new apartment and holds a part-time job at a café.

He abruptly woke up and looked at his phone to see what time it was.
4:06 AM.
Beomgyu's stomach suddenly growled. He was assembling the furniture for his new apartment so he wasn't able to eat dinner.
Before getting out of bed to eat a small snack-okay, maybe not a snack-specifically ramyeon, he caressed and rubbed his stomach.
He carefully began to assemble it after opening the ramyeon cup.
Beomgyu was slightly alarmed when he heard his doorbell ring out of the blue and wondered if a terrifying ghost was waiting outside to kidnap him, or kill him..?
He moved cautiously and slowly toward the door while trembling with fear.
Before eventually opening the door, he took a few breaths in and out.
It was.... Taehyun?
but, with blue hair..
He rubbed his eyes, unsure of the veracity of what he was seeing. Taehyun chuckled at him before speaking." Hey Beomgyu. How have you been holding up?"
Beomgyu was frozen, just staring at Taehyun. Beomgyu stumbled, "I-I'm okay.
After another chuckle left Taehyun's mouth, Taehyun asked Beomgyu if he could go in his apartment.
Beomgyu nodded, unable to speak.
Beomgyu pinched his arms, cheeks, literally everything, he asked himself, "am I dreaming?"
"No, you aren't, I'm real," Taehyun simply said.
He motioned for Beomgyu to take a seat next to Taehyun who was seated on the couch. Beomgyu sat down and turned to face Taehyun, his eyes filled with perplexity.
Beomgyu began, "So...."
"Okay.. Taehyun stated with all things serious eyes, "I'll explain everything, but you promise not to tell anyone about this. okay?" Taehyun said, holding his pinky out for Beomgyu to make a pinky promise.
Beomgyu nodded and intertwined his pinky with Taehyun's.
