They were in the kitchen of Yeonjun's house with only the two of them at home. Unwashed dishes filled the sink and Beomgyu was in charge of washing them while Yeonjun dried them. It was still snowing outside and the pajamas they were wearing did little to no solution in keeping them warm. The water ran down Beomgyu's wrists and he sighed.

It was a few minutes of silence and the occasional glances followed by sweet, dreamy giggles that were full of love and adoration. It was cold, but their chests felt warm. Like a fireplace lit from within them.

"I've been meaning to ask you," Yeonjun spoke in the midst of their task. Beomgyu hummed and handed him a plate.

"What is it?" Beomgyu grabbed another plate.

"Well..." Yeonjun thought about it while humming, "I don't know how to put it in words, but..."

While waiting for his question, Beomgyu continued to wash the dishes. Yeonjun noticed and chuckled before reaching out to close the faucet. Beomgyu looked at him with a raised brow, "What are you doing?"

"Focus on me first," Yeonjun whispered and walked over in front of Beomgyu's small frame. Beomgyu's body motioned together with Yeonjun and he felt the cold tiled sink hitting his lower back. Yeonjun leaned and placed his arms in between Beomgyu's waist as he smiled.

"Yeonjun," Beomgyu tried to push him away by his chest, "We still have a lot of—"

The best way to shut your partner up is to kiss them. Beomgyu's eyes widened and Yeonjun pulled away after a small, quick peck, "How'd you realize you were in love with me, too?"

"That's," Beomgyu brought a hand to cover his lips as his ears and cheeks turned red, "That's a random question. Why do you want to know?"

"Mere curiosity, I guess?" Yeonjun chuckled.

Beomgyu glared at him, "I've always known that."

"Known what?"

"That I love you," Beomgyu rubbed the back of his neck, feeling shy all over. Yeonjun watched him carefully, fondly.

"But that day... under the rain..." Beomgyu trailed off. He looked at Yeonjun, "It was the first time I actually thought..."

Yeonjun's eyes glistened and he smiled.

"I must confess."
