A Violins Song

~ Chapter Eleven ~ Beatings & Confrontation

Lucy walks out of Licht and into the night air. She looks up to the sky and sees that clouds have discovered all of the stars. The moon, what you can still see of it, looks like an eerie ball of silver glowing light. Lucy shivers and tries to warm herself up by rubbing her arm with her hands.

"Where are Levy and the others?" She asks to no one. Just then, a cold hand is placed onto her shoulder. Lucy whips around to see who it is, but when she does, there is no one in sight. The hairs on her neck stand on end when she feels breathing on her shoulder.

"What's a pretty lady like you're self doing out at this time of night?" A sleazy old guy says, alcohol on his breath. He grabs Lucy's arm with a tight grip.

"Let. Go. Of. Me." She states whilst trying to escape his iron cage of a grip.

"Let's have some fun Blondie." He says as two of his lackeys come out from the shadows, knives in their hands. One of the comes up to Lucy's At this point, Lucy is freaking out.

"Hey, I have an idea." Lucy stated,"Why don't you kindly fuck off?" She finishes with utmost sass. Adding a smirk to the end the ripping her arm out of the mans grasp and giving him a Lucy kick to the place where the sun don't shine.

As Lucy is running away from those creeps, she bumps into a hard chest. She looks up and sees Natsu, still clad in his outfit from before.

"What's up Luce?" Natsu says with a smile. "Why are people running after you?"

"Creeps. Knives. Help!" Lucy manages to say between breaths. Natsu's smile then turns into a look of pure determination. Lucy drops to the ground and starts to shake. Now Natsu is ready to throw down, pure determination in his eyes.

"Can the little girl not fight for her self?" Say the boss, appearing behind Lucy and Natsu. They whip their heads around to see a knife being thrown at Natsu's head. Coming with in inches from making contact with his left cheek.

"Fuck." Natsu says and trows a punch at the lackey who threw the knife. "Lucy, RUN!" He screams whilst fighting. The blonde is now crying hysterically. Flashbacks of her bullied childhood flash in her mind.

Flash Back!

Little Lucy screams as her only friend is beaten for protecting her.

"GET BACK! PLEASE. I'M NOT WORTH IT!" She screams, but it was worthless. The barrage of punches being gifted to her friend was relentless.

"Don't -Worry--about me." He said and then blacked out, leaving Lucy screaming at the sky.

End of Flash Back!

Being forced to remember those memories put a lot of stress on her mind. Suddenly she faints and Natsu screams out her name as she fades into the abyss.
